Matt Davis (Lankford)5I have nothing but great things to say about Erick Winchester. He was friendly, professional and honest. He helped us lock in a great rate and even sent us this thank you package. Highly recommend Crosscountry mortgage!

Allen Ng5I've worked with Denise before and decided to go with her again for my recent mortgage loan based on my prior experience. I am extremely happy with the service Denise and her team offered. It's one of the smoothest and least hassle mortgage loan process I've experienced. The process was straightforward. Her team gave clear instructions and kept me apprised of the status daily. The whole process was completed in just a few weeks. I highly recommend Denise and her team.

Shalinda Cooper1The only reason why I gave the company a 1 star is only because I wouldn't be able to post this message without it. This was absolutely my worst experience ever dealing with a Mortgage company. Worst customer service ever, no one answers the phone when you call, especially (Erick Weinchester). The worst thing is, Erick would not respond back to me to let me know how my application process was going. I would call and call but his cell phone went straight to voice mail. I never had this happen to me what kind of person would just have a client wait and wait without any communication to them at ALL. Lastly, I was approved at another Mortgage company within 2 weeks. So, if you don't hear back from this Erick guy after about a week...you better RUN and take your business elsewhere!!!!!!!!
Response from the ownerWe can only do a cash out refinance on a property that is owned by an individual that is on title. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

anthony rogers5I was introduced to cross country mortgage (Modesto California) by my agent upon looking for my wife and I's second home. We were vary lucky. I met with (Eric Winchester) got our loan docs. I am a disabled veteran as was worried about getting a VA loan and having it go right. I've heard horror stories connected to VA home loans. I learned after working with Eric that he has so much knowledge when dealing with veterans and takes personal pride helping them out. Not only did my loan paperwork go smooth he made my family feel comfortable with his knowledge and understanding of all the little things when it comes to veterans. He got us approved and took a cut from his own fees to help us (please don't expect this with every deal as I take a risk posting this, but it just does his character and I feel it should be a part of it) with our costs.. he and I have stayed in contact over the last year that we've been in our new home and occasionally answered questions I had related to financial things that saved us a couple hundred on our mortgage payment. Things like tax cuts and things that as a veteran I qualified for.., that is yat a boy number one for Eric..... Yat-a-boy number two comes later on at the end of the year when I received property tax forms. I was getting notices that a year after our original financing the interest rate were much better than the great interest rate I already had. Because I had a friendship with Eric already from my first purchase I asked Eric about it, he did some checking, and said he would be able to do great things for me. My wife and I went back in gladly and found out that he saved us approximately $400 more with the new interest rate of over 1%, bringing our final interest rate down to 2.3% for 30 years. Here's that yat a boy number two. After running the numbers (and again I mentioned Eric is very knowledgeable when it comes to laws pertaining to veterans) Eric realized that I was being charged property taxes that I wasn't supposed to be charged for because of my status. He assisted me with dealing with the tax assessor's office to attempt to get this issue resolved. At one time he argued on my behalf to the agent that they were taxing me on stuff they shouldn't be taxing me based off of California law and it's 1.25% rate. He personally is assisting me with resolving this issue. It's currently ongoing but I have 100% faith that it's going to get resolved in my favor. Which will drop my mortgage payment even a couple hundred dollars more. Eric has been a Non-Stop resource for my family, and a lot of it is being done on his own time. If you're a veteran or even if you're not and you want somebody who's going to take a compassionate interest in helping you or securing you or your family a great loan to get a home you would be doing yourself a favor by reaching out to this company. Prior to this I didn't know who Eric Winchester was, but I'm certainly glad that my wife and I have met him. Anything I will do in the future that has anything to do with my house my mortgage or possible third house in the future, as long as Eric is working in the field he will be my contact. Thank you Eric Winchester from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for getting us this great loan and thank you for saving us a bunch of money...
