  I have dealt with Creekside Finance for years. I usually do not write reviews but they have treated me so well, that I wanted to give them a shout out today. I was a little shocked to read some of the reviews before starting to write my Own review. Because of my personal dealing with this company I have come to the conclusion that the negative reviews are coming from individuals that did not pay their agreed on contract terms for their financial loan. It always amazes me that some people borrow money in some form and then feel like they do not have to repay that financial agreement. I personally have only dealt with the Lenoir office but in doing so I will say they are very professional and have always treated me very well. I have dealt with the ladies in the office and the owner (Larry Gragg) and have only positive comments for all of them. This is a great group of individuals and they have been very helpful and courteous to me on every occasion. I’m sure it could be different, if I wasn’t paying my contract terms because of an agreement that I made with them but I pay my bills. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for always giving me a smiling face to look at when I am in your office and treating me with respect and kindness. All of you are wonderful people and very professional. I truly appreciate all of your hard work to make a loan go through for me. Keep up the great work!

  I have received numerous loans from them. Great group of people. Courteous, professional, and very sweet ladies. Love this business. Hope to do business in the future! 5 star awesome company!

  When I was married to my now ex husband we borrowed money from you guys to buy our son a car. I have always had a great experience with the Lenoir office. Always friendly when I came in to make my payment and the girls knew me by name. I would recommend this place to anyone. (Holly Ennis)

  I manage a used car lot WE DO NOT recommend Creekside Finance. Please check with Allied, Basic, One main or any other financial institutions. And to add to the response below from Larry, he knows that he is not telling the truth at all. We do not and have NEVER charged a customer a dealer fee. He is just trying to make them look better. He even threatened me over the phone. It's very sad that a man like him would be the president/owner of this company. Also, if you can't tell by the reviews, maybe you should stay away.

  This dealer is not happy because we would not agree to pay them a finders fee for a customer that was actually our previous customer and they choose to come to us. He wanted to charge the customer a dealer fee and we would not agree to that.

  We have never been late on a payment been been paying more then what my payments was .I come on a Thursday. August the 20th when my car got total asking for if they would help me get a loan to get a car after I come in telling them my car got total and they had a the title for my car and told me to get a car from car lot and I didn't want to do that was trying to tell them i had found one all I had to do was go get it if I had the money and I have done without a car for 2 weeks Thursday and they didn't care if I didn't have a car or not to get to around to where I need to be or to get my daughter to school and was like I wasn't going to not pay my loan off after my Insurance pay on my car and I told them I was going to pay the differents on it when the insurance paid us but they wasn't happy with that so now my Insurance is going to pay them and then I'll pay the differents . I'll never deal with tem again . So I went to a different place that was so much better to us . Not HAPPY AT ALL !!! 😠

We have always treated you with the upmost respect, kindness and gratitude for your business. You know the description you did above is not fair nor is it true! The state only allows 1 personal loan per person, we told you that and explained that if you wanted to purchase a car from any car dealer we could do it immediately because its not a personal loan but a retail loan ... but if you wanted a loan to purchase a car from an individual that we first had to wait for your insurance company to settle the loan you had open first. Please understand that our goal and desire is to please you but we have state regulations that we MUST abide. Please let us know if we can help you in any way now or in the future.

  I have had 10 different loans with Creekside Finance, and while the interest rates are a little "high," they are willing to "work with their customers" and quite literally "bend over backwards" to try and help. And as long as you hold up "your end of the bargain" they ALWAYS hold up "their end of the bargain!" I don't understand why some people want to "complain" and give "negative reviews" because of their OWN incompetence and their OWN neglect to live up to their OWN agreements! I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS whatsoever with Creekside Finance, and the people that work there (at least in the Lenoir branch), they are all Wonderful People! Larry, Shannon, Sharon, Paula, & Ruby I love y'all.

  I’ve had several loans with the Lenoir office over the past 10 or more years. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with any of them. I absolutely love all the staff here, it feels like family.

  The staff were extremely helpful in the beginning, but after moving to the Lenoir location they became extremely rude and uncooperative. We did hit a rough patch as I got pregnant as I lost a job making $15 an hour, then as they found out they tried talking us into refinancing which would have made our payments higher than what we had before. If we got in the tight spot we were in how could we afford to make a HIGHER payment? We were completely willing for them to come pick up the car as we knew that would be the consequence for being in the financial situation we were, but they wouldn't even give us till that evening to get the car cleaned out. We will definitely never do business with them again.

  We did offer her to refinance but she is wrong her payment would not have increased at all. We made the offer to refinance to allow her to skip two payments to try to help her get back on her feet. She choose not to take our help and as a result we had no options. Sorry she feels the way she does but this problem was her fault and Creekside tried to help but some people can't be helped.

  Whenever I go inside they are always nice and acknowledge that I have walked in. The ladies and gentleman always chat with my kids while I'm being waited on which is always nice. Every time that I have had a question they have always took the time to explain it to me. When I call I never have to wait a long time before I'm waited on. Over all very great service.

  Best place to get a loan. They have always been super nice to me even on my bad days. Ruby is a trooper.
