Stephanie Smith1This institution does not deserve even one star. If you value your money at all do not bank here. They hit you with overdraft fees while you have funds in your account. We called to rectify this issue and was met with a rude, cold and unprofessional associate. They have made managing our money impossible in every aspect. Do not bank here. After today, we will not either and will make sure that none of our friends and family ever will.

James Van Dyke5The people are really nice and the service is top notch! I am in the process of closing on a new home with a loan from CUGA. My Mortgage Originator, Joe Menna was extremely efficient and was able to process my loan quickly and with no issues!

K D1I Womens into this location and the service from a Beth was awful. She passed judgment due to my bankrupcy and in fact encouraged me to go to another bank. I reported her to corporate & filed a complaint. She was beyond bias cane off very sweet but was bias and done everything in her power not to open up an account for me. Soon as I told her I filed bankrupcy just as millions of other Americans in such times her demeanor changed and the entire situation was unethical as well as prejudice and she in fact did discriminate on me due to my bankrupcy. I told her i was fine with the fee of $10 per month she tried to push free checking and act as if I didn’t have $100 to put in the account when I was looking to bring over $60k. I am big on respect and this is not it.

David Luna5I finally found some help in applying for my PPP Loan. Tried to work it out with one of the bigger banks that I have been banking with and they are of little to no help. Lisa K. did an excellent job of communicating with me (via email) on what documentation was needed and where the process stood. I plan to open future savings & checking accounts going forward.

Kara Sepulveda2Their system is so antiquated that you can't even view the checks you deposit online. I opened this account because it's close to home and a credit union but the online services are so terrible that I'm going to move banks. The only reason I haven't yet it because of the autodrafts I have set up. I literally had to call the bank and ask them to look up a check that was deposited 6 months ago and they couldn't see it either. The gentleman I spoke with had to put in a request and call me back. This wasn't an isolated incident either because I also needed updates on 3 other checks he had to call me about. I don't see the value in this credit union and its services at all. Also, the car loan j applied for had a higher interest rate than an online lender.

However, under your account details you can see a line item of when a check was deposited and how much was deposited into your account through home banking. Kaleigh Hamlin5I’ve always preferred credit unions over traditional banks but CUofGA goes above and beyond my expectations. It’s always a personal experience where we feel welcomed and not a burden. We have personal accounts, our business account, and our children’s savings here. All accounts are easily accessible and fees that big banks charge don’t occur. We’ll be members for life!

Tod Taylor5We've been banking (four accounts) at Credit Union of Georgia for over 6 years and have had zero problems. When I call customer service, I get someone local. Much better service than national banks such as WF and BOA. When other banks are doing away with tellers and drive-thrus and replacing them with ATMs, CUGA still has living, breathing tellers who are super friendly and helpful.

Shaimarco Jackson1Unlike most financial institutions you can deposit cash but only in an envelope & cash isn't available until the following business day. They do anything possible NOT TO RESOLVE DISPUTES. I fraudulent merchant literally took money. I had to go to PayPal to get it back & my own financial institution wouldn't help. The customer service is egregious. DO NOT BANK HERE. I REGRETTED EVERY DAY OF IT.
