Katelynn Berkevich5My husband and I have had bad credit from pretty much the get go. We were irresponsible and ended up causing a lot of damage. In all reality, we never really felt the effects of this until a little over a year ago. We lost our apartment after my husband was laid off and had to move in with my parents because there was literally no other alternative for us. Once we finally got our finances under control again, we decided it would be best if we bought a home instead of renting again. We went to a mortgage lender to see what we could get approved for and that turned out to be nothing. Our credit was so poor that we couldn't qualify for a loan. Our lender suggested working with Credit Matters to help repair our credit. It's been almost a year since we started working with them and I couldn't be more happy with the results. The process is long and tiring, but everyone from Credit Matters have been absolutely amazing. I've already referred a friend to them for help and you better believe that I'll suggest them to anyone else facing the same struggles we did.
Response from the ownerThank you , Katelynn! We are so happy to have helped you reach your goal. It's such a privilege working with our clients, educating them on good credit practices and seeing the amazing results that come from the dispute process. What a powerful process it is! It truly makes our day when we hear these stories and know that your loan closed and you're on to bigger and better things. Our clients come mostly from word of mouth referrals so we appreciate, so much, you spreading the Credit Matters word. Better credit really does equal a better life : ) Take care and enjoy your new home!

Erin Hansen5I have been working with credit matters for a week so far and I am not kidding, my score jumped literally 52 points so far. My problem is mostly medical bills in collections and old, closed credit card accounts. Jenny has been SO helpful with the process so far. This process has so far required NO work on my end aside from the initial setup, they do all the dispute work for you on every single item to every credit bureau. I am typically very skeptical of programs like this because there are a lot of shady “credit repair” programs, but I put my trust in Jenny over at Credit Matters and I am seeing significant changes in my credit already. I am more than satisfied with my decision to go this route.
Response from the ownerThanks Erin, for such a detailed and great review!

Kou Success Lee FX3Very Friendly and Good Customer Service. I did not see anything new on my credit report or any collections removed. They were added back from other debt collectors. Credit Score was worse then before. Was with them for 3 months. My wife also was also a customer for them and she reported she didn't see anything change either. I was referred to them to by a mortgage lender, in hopes of purchasing a home soon.
Response from the ownerHi Kou, I saw this response and wanted to comment, since I believe this was an unfair assessment of our service. I re-opened your file to see if what you said was true. After reviewing things, we actually were able to get 11 accounts deleted from your account, and 5 deletions from your wife's credit report. There was even an unpaid charge off ($473) that we got removed for you on all 3 credit bureaus! We also sent you an email on 4/3/18 explaining all of these things, and showing the deletions we accomplished...so we're not sure why you wrote this false review. I'm sorry you feel like your credit score dropped because of our service. We understand seeing lower scores can be frustrating, but there's also a possibility you were comparing 2 different types of scores. For example, Credit Karma scores are often 50-100 points different than lender scores. Please watch our video to learn more: http://www.creditmatterscheatsheets.com/supercharge-scores. In reality, disputing your negative items does NOT lower your scores. There's no logical reason why that would be the case. In fact, the exact opposite is true. Removing negative items raises your score. However, if you were evaluating the same type of scores, than it's possible your scores dropped for one of the following reasons: - you incurred a new negative account - you opened a new loan - you credit card balances were higher than when we started. To summarize, it's literally impossible for credit repair to lower your scores. I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding of some kind, but please know we did exactly what you hired us to do. Many of our clients see life-changing results. Not everyone sees the exact same type of results, but we did get deletions for you AND your wife. We've been a small family owned business for 16 years, and 100% of our business comes from referrals. We can only achieve this by providing honest service, and great results. If you'd be so kind to remove or update this review, we'd greatly appreciate it! We wish you the best of luck in your future, Kou!
