  Danny Talia and the team at Cornerstone have impeccable service and expertise. Purchasing a home is a daunting task and having a new mortgage is so intimidating but Danny went through each and every scenario, ran the numbers and explained everything so thoroughly! I was so impressed with how he and his team made the process so easy and understandable along each step. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, whether you are a first time buyer like I was or purchasing again. I can't say enough amazing things about how smooth this process was.

  If I could give less than one star I would. We were supposed to close at 9am this morning. I found out at 6 pm last night that Cornerstone First Mortgage dropped the ball and requested some inspection reports late yesterday afternoon that have been available for over a month. They pushed closing back a week. They are non-responsive and impossible to work with. The title company has been trying to get information from them for a week and this is what they do in a crunch. DO NOT USE THEM! They will ruin your whole selling/buying process! Update! They STILL can't close this loan. Moved out another week. This has been under contract for 2 MONTHS!!!! They will wait until the night before you're under contract to close and then try and buy more time. Horrible company!!!! Additional update! Still have not closed! Closing has been rescheduled 4 times! May be looking like 5 if they don’t make Wed. Supposed to close today and no one called or provided closing documents again. They assured us on Friday everything would submitted to the title company. Not even a phone call to update us.

  Cornerstone was punctual, diligent and very responsive through out our whole lending process! Our team was amazing at making sure the proper paperwork was provided in a timely manner and they assisted with closing cost! We will definitely use them again!!

  They made us pass a nightmare, we are about to lose the house we had 1 year waiting. All by incompetent. FAMILY do not fall here. Not in San Diego nor in El Centro ca.

  I am a realtor and have been for 25 years. I have never ever experienced such an unprofessional, unethical, terrible lender in my career!! Do not use them. My seller lost lots of money by being tied up in an escrow that fell through after 65 days! We were one week away from closing with a conventional loan and Jennifer Owens switched over to an fha without notifying any of us, well knowing that this complex was NOT fha approved. We were constantly strung along and just told what we wanted to hear. Insert Edwin who is the manager came into play and once again told what we wanted to hear. These people have absolutely no business doing home loans!!!!!! In fact, they’re so bad that both the selling agent and myself will be reporting them to the better business bureau. Please note, the company had such horrible Yelp reviews, it looks like they completely removed themselves from Yelp!

  The process took a while but was worth it. We saved almost $500.00 on our monthly mortgage payment after the refi. We're confidant we received the best rate available. Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly.
