  Working with Cornerstone First was fantastic. The process was very streamlined from beginning to end and we closed and had our new loan funded within 28 days of my first phone call with them. Doug, Emily, Sarah, and the rest of the team are an excellent group to work with. Saving about $570 a month on our mortgage is pretty sweet as well!

  A friend refinanced with Cornerstone and recommended I contact Mark. I was able to purchase my house without selling my other property first. I went to closing in 3 weeks. I got a very competitive fixed rate on the loan. I would not have been able to do it with Mark and the rest of Cornerstone's team. It was a real blessing to work with Cornerstone and I was so happy to find someone familiar with the DMV and actually operates in DC. They were available evenings, weekends, whenever I needed them. I am grateful and can't say enough about their professionalism and depth of knowledge and kindness and honesty. I real treasure in today's world.

  Mark and Emily were fantastic to work with! They helped me refi in 2017 and had best rates around, then this year they helped reduce my interest rate by more than another full percentage point from 2017 mortgage.   Cornerstone First Financial was a HUGE help to us in getting the refinance process completed. Doug Rice and his team were friendly, courteous, and really acted in our best interest. We ended up with cash out and were able to get a better overall deal on our mortgage. Everything worked out great and we got all we could have expected.

  Cornerstone First Financial did an incredible job getting my client's deal closed. I am a realtor with Samson Properties and I represented the buyer, so it was important for us to work with a lender that could get a deal closed in 30 days. The seller had already had a deal fall through due to financing. Cornerstone First Financial understood this from the beginning and did everything to make sure my clients stayed on track to close the deal. I would highly recommend this lender to any real estate agents and their clients! Mark Livingstone was the loan officer we worked with.

  I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of service offered by Johanna Witten at Cornerstone First Financial. She is quick to respond, on top of every detail and explains all the jargon and process of mortgage lending with clarity (and patience!) We were under an incredible time crunch in a tight housing market (Boulder, CO area) and even our Realtor was surprised Cornerstone was able to process the loan so rapidly. We are truly grateful to have met Johanna and have a home in Colorado. If you are even just thinking about buying a home call her. You'll be very glad you did!

  This was the first time I had ever refinance on anything. I had a lot of questions and concerns about refinancing my mortgage. Mark was fantastic and he took time to explain any questions I had and walked me through the whole process. I thought it will be harder and more difficult due to COVID-19. Mark and his team were great to work with. The communication through emails and phone calls were easy and their response were fast concerning any questions during the process. The process from beginning to end was a lot faster than I thought, and I saved so much money thanks to Mark and his team!

  Cornerstone First Financial is a fantastic company, and Chris Swope is an excellent loan officer. My husband and I had the pleasure of refinancing our mortgage with Cornerstone First Financial, and our loan officer was Chris Swope. Chris was a blessing to us. I have never dealt with anyone as pleasant, courteous, professional, honest, and communicative as Chris. I first contacted Chris on October 7th and explained that we were looking to refinance our current mortgage. I explained that we were working with another company that seemed to be giving us the run-around. It had been over two months, and that other company had not assigned our loan application to an underwriter, and that company never locked in the interest rate. Chris understood what we were going through and what we wanted and assured me that we would be closing within three weeks. By October 9th, Chris had our rate locked in and provided us with a detailed timeline of the process of when each step would occur. On October 28th, we were closing on our loan. He is a man of his word, full of integrity, and he takes great pride in making sure his clients are taken care of. He stayed in constant communication with us. Not once did I ever feel as though he dropped the ball. Dealing with Chris made the refinance process quick, easy, and painless. I would highly recommend Chris Swope and Cornerstone First Financial to anyone who is looking for a mortgage broker and lender. I am so impressed with Chris that I have given his name to my friend, a realtor. I told her that she needs to connect with Chris because he would treat her clients extremely well. Chris, thank you for being an amazing person and loan officer.
