Came into the Richmond st branch to open an account. Grant one of the member service representatives was extremely nice and knowledgeable. He helped me setup the accounts and get a cashiers check for a large amount to pay off my car loan. He is great and deserves a raise!

      Response from the owner

Thanks so much for sharing your 5-star feedback ! We'll be sure that Grant and his leaders know about your wonderful experience.

Horrible customer service and rude tellers! I have been banking here since early 2016 without incident until this last month. I lost my debit card on Sep. 16th and promptly ordered a replacement. The first card never came so I called again and the customer service phone rep did not apologize or convey any empathy at all. It was HER idea to ship a new replacement card to my specific branch well over 10 business days ago. I agreed and had it shipped to the RICHMOND ST, APPLETON location. I went this morning and asked the even ruder teller for an update and she said the second card was shipped to my home- which is not true. I called customer service again and the lady sighed and said "let me check with plastics" and put me on hold for a very long time. She said just keep waiting and never apologized. Whatever. There is NO reason it should take over a month to get a replacement debit card! I use my card to pay my bills including my rent and I run a small online business that has been on hold since this occured. Not once was I apologized to for the delay or offered any other resolution than "keep waiting". I am done! I will never bank with Community First again and will forever try to dissuade friends, family, and strangers from banking here. Train your employees better!

I have been banking here for several years. Great service, friendly people. Good interest rates for loans and mortgages. Went in today with a few issues on my statement. They were very helpful, fixed everything up for me. Even helped me download the CF app and set it up with fingerprint recognition. Quick and easy.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This goes out to Commie First as a whole. I have been banking there since a small child when my mother opened an account for me. Over the last few years, I had been scammed out of money (literally hundreds) by them "changing policies" and making changes to my account without notification to myself. Today was the last straw, as it happened again. Apparently "weeks ago" they changed my account number for the main account I used to make payments on a delinquent credit account, and never notified me of the change. I sent over a good chunk of money to pay off my account completely, and the money never was deposited into said bank account but also shows "no record" of the money being sent, even though my current bank shows the deposits were made. Now, if I get the money back, I have to take MY time to make another deposit at a later time, while the interest on the account CONTINUES to climb. What should have been as easy as a transfer and a phone call is now going to be a week long plus debacle that I have to deal with. All because of their own issues. I have tried to work with them in the past, but multiple payment deflections, returns, and mis-deposits later, here I sit, still hassling with this terrible institution, two years after closing my main account with them. I will NEVER recommend this bank for any reason, and would trust my neighborhood dope peddler with my money more than this joke of a banking institution. Community first? More like profits first. What a joke.

Trash rep members who don’t even know what to do with their jobs. Can’t even explain properly how to work their policies. The rep members especially Joshua Thulien likes to hide things. He does not tell you or explain to you everything you need to know about loans, mortgage, debt cards, etc. none of them rep members do. I would not recommend this firm or the rep members.

I have been into this location three times trying to set up a checking account and have been turned away each time. First time was because I didn't have proof of address, which I understand. Second time they stated my proof of address wasn't eligible even though it's an official document from the US post office. Thrid time was because they stated they didn't have enough time. I went directly to the Spencer St location from Richmond St. location and the manager (Matt) had me set up in and out in under 20 minutes.

Things were great until they updated their system. I have no access to any of my accounts. I am currently on the phone for help & number 32 in line. I thought this was going to be a smooth transaction. Unfortunately, being out of state really has its downfall.

I moved to Appleton over ten years ago and set up my first bank account with these fine people. I later moved around the Valley and have been served by many branches, but this one is still my favorite.
