  This bank will have your back like family. They have improved their app and you can withdraw at any 7-11 for free. Always there for me in time of need and service is unmatched.

  Problem on top of problem paying bills digitally. Have ALWAYS had to take my payment into a branch due to app and digital access for bill payment not being available. Bill statements aren’t sent- some staff tell you one thing and others tell you something different. I witnessed the bank getting served. That was a sign right there. Not a good banking experience at this bank for me…

  Service and capabilities have consistently went down hill. I have been a customer since 2011 and they used to have amazing service and offerings but that is gone now. Maybe pandemic work shortage related? Really a shame.

  Summary: There is a significant disconnect between information given by customer service staff and loan officers in regard to auto loan terms and conditions Details: I recently applied for an automotive loan with CommonWealth One to cover the purchase of a vehicle. I unfortunately had negative equity on the vehicle I was trading in and was told by the customer service representative that I was pre-approved for a 72 month loan that would cover both the purchase of my new vehicle and the negative equity from my other vehicle. I confirmed this several times with CommonWealth One staff throughout the loan application process. On the day of the vehicle purchase, I was suddenly informed by their loan officer that they their loans do not cover negative equity and will only accommodate up to a 60 month loan on the vehicle as opposed to the 72 month loan that was promised to me throughout the process. Based on this experience there is a very clear disconnect between what the customer service staff tell prospective applicants versus what is actually being offered by the loan officers themselves. Although I am a big proponent of financing cars through your local credit union, this experience has unfortunately made me very skeptical about applying for any future loans with CommonWealth One.

  They say the true test of a merchant is when things really go wrong for a customer. When I woke up to an unauthorized ACH draw on my account, Melissa Bohl really came thru and handled everything quickly and professionally. I didn't have time to panic, or feel things were catastrophic, before they were resolved. But in hindsight, in doesn't get much worse than someone hacking into your accounts. Thanks again Melissa!

  Firstly, let me say that COFCU is the best banking experience I have had in my life. Skepticism from For profit banks and being taken advantage of as a young college student, had me wary of the structured banking systems. Opening an account at COFCU changed all of that. I now have several loans and have happily been a member for years. The customer service and tellers are EXCELLENT. Its almost like ChikFila lol - they are genuinely pleasant people. Also, the interest rates are competitive and lower than market, the loan specialist will help you pick the most financially appealing loan for you and wont set you up to put you in a bad position. Also, I want to give a BIG SHOUTOUT to TAMMY on the customer service line. She is a Godsend and extremely helpful with issues. There were moments in which Tammy went from helping me with a financial issue to talking me through a life issue! In closing (sorry for being longwinded) - A+ 5star Bank. Join now!

  This credit union boasted of their new Bill Pay system for weeks and shut down payments for a time to institute it. However, it was a colossal FAIL, and all of the previous Bill Pay information was lost. I had to write secure messages to pay bills in the interim, and the employees argued with me about whether or not my insurer had previously been a payee! As if that were not enough pain, this company again shut down payments at the end of February through the beginning of March (despite many members having bills payable during this period) and “offered” to charge me nearly $20.00 to “rush” a local payment because of their shutdown. Note: All service representatives were busy-no doubt due to difficulties caused by this company, so I could not completely close my account. Nevertheless, I removed all of my checking account balance. Companies that do not respect my business do not get my money.

  I had 3 overdrafts at the Commonwealth credit union because the ATM is old school. When you deposit cash after hours .The money does not clear until the next day when someone count it. How old fashioned is that. About a month ago I had 3 overdrafts. That was my first time. Mr. W did not have any consideration for me and only credited 30 dollars back into my account. He act like he didn't have no understanding he was not easy to deal with. He made me feel like I had to beg him for help and be extremely nice to him. The credit union really needs to get up to dated AMT's machines installed. I will say the employees are pleasant and very nice tho.
