  When their "fraud protection" locks up all your money from something that isn't fraud... they are "sorry"... but for 24 hours there just isn't anything they can do... so if all your money is in that account and you use it for food and gas..."sorry" can't get to it.

  Pros: Has more to offer than most Banks. Workers are friendly, but thats the case 99% of the places around here. Cons: Only open Buisness hours (closed on weekends). Very slow with processing loan applications and will not call to update on status of application or tell you what is needed to get approved. I simply needed a loan to build credit, so I was willing to put the amount of the loan in a holding account until the loan was paid off. I received one phone call only after they saw me walk in and walk out (because I could not wait that long). After that I heard nothing. Wasted over a week. Could have (and will go) somewhere else. Their sloggan talks about being for the people and not for profit. They may not be in Buisness for profit, but I can't see where they are for the people. Another local bank listened to what we wanted to do and said they will walk us through the process of building credit and even volunteered to show us the ends and out of credit karma.

  Because I have been a faithful customer at this faithful CU, these people helped me when I was in a pinch! I appreciate their positive atmosphere and willingness to help out their members. Promt, professional service is what they do!

  Good local credit union open to all.
