Chase Bank Reviews

A 000775I have had issues with Chase in the past for numerous reasons - mostly dealing with unnecessary technicalities and poor communication from teller to customer. I have worked with Lorraine as teller twice, and both times it was a smooth, pleasant experience. I hope to work with her again in the future.

Dave Howe1Chase allowed a thief to open an account in my name and stole a large amount of money right out of my account at Chase. The thief opened the account with an accomplice named Keefe Williams. I went to this branch for help and they gave me zero help. Total incompetence at Chase. Military, stay away.

Jax Hudgens5came in with a credit card concern after a long days work/months end. in just about two minutes was greeted by a very kind banker (blonde guy with lifted truck can’t remember his name) he answered all of my questions and was very friendly.

Amanda MacNair1Do yourself a favor and don't bank with Chase in general or this branch. I banked with Chase for about 11 years and can't recall a time they actively worked to help secure a loan or provide outstanding services despite excellent credit and consistently banking with them. It's also incredibly problematic that this branch has been completely closed for nearly a year. I understand closing down for a little due to the pandemic, but nearly every other bank in Flagstaff has opened back up with social distancing guidelines in order to still serve their customers in a safe manner. This indicates to me that Chase is simply too big for Flagstaff, and isn't truly invested in their clients. I shouldn't need to take out rent in $20s at the ATM every month instead of being able to cautiously speak to someone in the lobby in order to get a money order or check written out. Only having ATM services available puts people at risk, and the corporation simply doesn't care. There have been a lot of examples of poor banking with them over the years, but the short of the story is don't bank with Chase. My only regret is staying with them for so long.

David Greschke1This has become the worst Chase Bank Branch possibly on the planet. Hardly anyone works there anymore and if you don't make an appointment you will likely wait 45-90 minutes even to just get into your safe deposit box. The same for just a notary service on a document. In 2006 if you wanted to get into your safe deposit box, the Branch Manager would come out and let you in if the other 6 or 7, now 2 or 3, employees were busy. Now there is no Branch Manager. And to prove that logic does not prevail at JP Morgan Chase, the Tellers, who are often not busy are not allowed to come over and help you get in you safe deposit box. They are allowed to deal will all the money each day, but god forbid they be allowed to provide customer service. We are seriously looking at moving all of our money from Chase to a Credit Union. The big boys have gotten too big. They are above the complaints of the customers.

Jeff Rajca5I have been in this bank a few times and have always been treated good. Once they fitted me in without an appointment and the other day they took me in a half hour early for an appointment. A manager, Kim, opened a business account for me. She was really nice and set up the account in half the time another branch told me it would take. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was concerned and paid attention to how all of the employees were treating the customers. Everyone was nice.

The Wizard Jakobus1Went in to talk to a banker today and make sizable deposit. I was told Chase now requires appointments and it could be DAYS until their next opening including other branches! ...and that ALL banks are now doing this so I should just be patient. I then literally walked across the street to Wells Fargo, waited one minute for a banker and was able to set up a new brand new account with them and make my deposit in 20 mins...with more than one person helping me almost the whole time! I would rate Chase negative stars if they let you. Truly pathetic customer service!

J Martinez1I walked in to open an account but no one acknowledged I was there. I was waiting for some one to “check-in” or something. I walked up to one of the two tellers to ask how to talk to a banker about opening an account. Halfway through my sentence, she rudely interrupted and told me to stand back until she was ready for me (by the way it appeared she was just standing there). About five minutes later, she was finally “ready.” After finally asking my question she said all appointments were taken for the rest of the day (I went in around 10am) and the next day. I ended up going to another bank in town and they were able to immediately help me and were much more friendlier than the employees at this Chase.

Zach Lee-Butler1Looking at past reviews it seems that this branch has a history. Gave me the most difficult time just to order an new replacement card asked if i would just sit and wait for one of their bankers to squeeze me in at their convenience. Instead went to the other side of town and that branch did amazing and took care of me withing 5 min. Thanks for nothing and continue the terrible work.
