Why can't we use the atm during the day? I cant deposit into the atm?! Why? Things would flow faster if the atm would be able to let us deposit.

This is the worst bank or credit union I have ever been to. The people are not nice, their institution is difficult with many fees. They also no longer do shared banking deposits. Their atm drive through does not work either. Don’t waste your time.

      Response from the owner

During the pandemic we have made serving our members our number one priority. Unfortunately, we needed to suspend shared branching activity to allow for timely access to our branch staff to help members safely and efficiently.

ATM is either flat out not working, not accepting deposits or as I just discovered will accept your deposit but the transaction would just cancel. Nothing wrong with the check or the process, just flat out cancelled at the end. This is pretty annoying as someone who works odd hours and gets paid right before the weekend. Also, I don't think I've ever been able to set up mobile deposit on my app. Never been given the opportunity.

      Response from the owner

Sterling, Thank you for bringing this to our attention so we can improve further services. We would be happy to help you with setting up mobile deposit within your app to conveniently make your deposits right from home! Please e-mail [email protected] to get personal assistance with this.

As a member of Truwest, this bank is the only location in Flagstaff, AZ, that I am able to complete any physical banking at. Today, I arrived 5 minutes before the bank opened; I was attempting to make a cashier's check. After waiting for 5 minutes, I saw the employees unlock the doors. I left my car and began to enter the bank. I was stopped by a woman who asked me if I bank with them. I was getting a money order made, so I simply replied with this. The employee was then extremely rude and aggressive in asking if I banked with them. I quickly replied that I bank with Truwest. I was promptly turned away. I am a college-aged male, and the same animosity was not shown to other older customers entering the bank. I understand policy changes due to COVID-19, but for someone who actively banks physically with this location I was very off-putting.

slightly better than a bank. ATM sometimes works. online bill pay and mobile app for me were issues as they needed to link my phone number, somehow i am supposed to instinctively know they didnt link my number to it. I paid $12 in service fees last month on my free account, $2 so far this month I went here to escape nonsense at another credit union, all i got was more nonsense and get to pay more for it edit: before leaving the above review i called and tried to discuss the issues, any concerns voiced were disregarded. at no time did it feel any better than dealing with a bank, i get better service for Amex card than i did with this credit union.

      Response from the owner

Kayla, we hate for our members to pay fees! And we’re confused about what happened with your online access. Please contact us so we can discuss how to get you fee-free and ensure you have access to your accounts online and on your mobile phone. Please e-mail [email protected] and we’ll set up a time to speak!

They forgot to order my credit card, then when they rush ordered me one, they promised it would be there by a certain day and it wasn't. Then when i got the new card, it didn't work!! I was promised a call from the AVP of card services to discuss their terrible service - she never called, emailed, anything!! They even stated they would put a note on my account so my card wouldn't be blocked when traveling, but i got a call saying there was a hold on my account because i used my credit card in a place unfamiliar. I tried calling to make sure my card wasn't blocked and when i did, the representatives that answered stated they were unaffiliated with ACCU! I tried using mobile banking and got locked out, the updated password they sent me didn't work and now i have to wait until business hours to get everything handled. Of course, they decided to close on weekends to save money but that's when I seem to always need them. Worst Credit Union. The only good think is my credit card APR. I'm writing a letter next.

      Response from the owner

Jake, we are reaching out to you by phone to discuss this situation personally. But, you are correct, we let you down and sincerely regret doing so. We do want to let you know the representative you spoke with after-hours IS affiliated with AZ Central Credit Union. They support our card platform when we are closed ensuring you may speak with someone 24/7/365. We will do everything we can to re-earn your trust and demonstrate how much we value your business.

I sat in the drive thru for 20 minutes (not a joke or an exaggeration - I timed it on my phone) before someone came to the window. When someone did finally come, they assisted the car that JUST pulled into the other lane ahead of me. That car left before me and the teller disappeared for several more minutes. I thought they had forgotten about me entirely. It took 27 minutes total from the time I sent my slip to them to when I recieved my ID and receipt back. There was no acknowledgement of the wait time. I am unimpressed to say the least. To top it off, the ATM was not working. I will most likely be closing my account here, but based on repeated experiences like this one at this location, I think I will have to take a day off from work to do it.

Lovely people at this branch, but the company makes no attempt at letting you know when they'll hit you with random account maintenance fees. Paid $30+ for a savings account that I eventually closed because I got sick of calling them to reverse fees on an account they told me was free. Don't make my mistake--get everything in writing and make sure that 6 years after opening an account with them they don't suddenly decide to charge you for having an account.

I’ve been a member at this credit union for years now and have not once had a bad experience. I go into the branch about once a month for various reasons. The customer service is consistently excellent. Looking at some of the reviews, I was quite surprised. Makes me wonder if they were impertinent or rude to start with.
