Great ATM here, it's part of the Iowa ATM network so free for me unlike some of the big national banks that try to charge a fee to use the ATM.

We used CSB for the building loan on our new house. Amanda was amazing to work with... friendly and helpful. The process was pretty seamless. We are very happy with the bank and to their willingness to work with us through the entire process.

Went to get information regarding services that the bank offered. Felt that the bank representative who helped me (and will remain nameless) was not very helpful or wanted our business. She was somewhat stand offish. We'll just continue our search for the right bank and eventually find a home for our $100,000.

Nice folks. Ďont use their travel card, however, if headed out of the country. Look for a cŕedit card without foreign transaction fees.

      Response from the owner

Thanks Earl, we appreciate your feedback!

The internet banking and mobile app has to be the worst managed piece of technology that exists in the state of Iowa. Words can’t express how frustrating your broken system called internet banking is to use. A child could build a better managed and functioning website. How can you have a security question minimum length requirement of 6 characters and have security questions like what is your favorite color or what color was your first car? Do you realize that the majority of colors do not contain 6 characters? Red, white, gray, blue, black, etc.? How does this happen? Did everyone that tested the website have a yellow car? What kind of quality control system did this pass? The dumb mobile app isn’t capable of changing a password – yet you force regular password changes. Then you login to the internet banking and can’t complete the password update because of stupid security questions. So now I have to drive to the bank and request my password to be reset – more inconvenience. They reset it and give me a temporary one, finally get it to take (after carefully selecting a security question with an answer longer than 6 characters. Then – I login to the mobile app and it doesn’t work! Go back to the PC and login – nope! Doesn’t work!! On top of that – you randomly decide to decline debit card transactions. Causing embarrassment and extra trips running around town to try to use my own money. Furthermore, when I enrolled in internet banking – why would you force people to enroll again just to deposit a check with the mobile app? Wouldn’t one consider my initial enrollment as enough to deposit a check? Deposits and withdrawals – the most common banking transactions – and you made it as difficult as possible by your lousy technology. Your bank is the most unfriendly user experience that I’ve ever had or heard of. Banking with you has to be the most frustrating, inefficient and miserable experience there is in central Iowa. This is completely unacceptable and I will be closing my account with you as soon as possible. (I can’t wait to see how painful that task will be)

      Response from the owner

We are sorry to hear of your frustration with our internet banking and mobile app. We hope that you will be able to find a place that better suits your needs. Your feedback will help us to improve the functionality of our services, so that customers can avoid experiences like these. Please feel free to contact your local branch manager with any additional feedback as we’d be happy to chat with you.
