  They Have screwed up my payments multiple times reporting me late when I have never missed a payment. Several years of trying to fix it with little to no results.

  Literally the worst mortgage company I have ever had. If you want to talk to someone in customer service, good luck. They always have a "high call volume" so you can't speak with anyone. All you can do is sign up for a callback in the future. The last callback that I had from them there was nobody on the line. I'm also not too happy about the handling of my escrow account. They show online that my hazard insurance was paid, but my insurance agent has no record of ever seeing the payment. I sold my house, and now I'm trying to track down where this supposed payment went. The company is a joke.

  Had nothing but problems with this company since our mortgage was sold to them. After making two payments one month, they called me to tell me I hadn't made a payment, was charged late fees, and put me into collections. I called them 3 times and couldn't get through to a person to resolve the issue after being on hold for hours. Made payment to them to be applied to escrow - clearly indicated it was for escrow on check, followed up to make sure it was applied and was assured that it was. Then it showed up as a principal payment. Worst customer service experience I've ever had. Please try to avoid this happening to you. BBB is going to get a call soon. Looks like I'm not alone based on all the other reviews.

  This is absolutely the worst mortgage company I have ever dealt with. My loan was sold to them and they have screwed it up--and my credit--since they took over. I see from other reviews that I am not the only person that this has happened to. I have never been late on a mtg payment in my life and often I have had multiple mtg payments at once. This has been a nightmare to clean up. I am refinancing my loan as soon as I can to get it it out from under them!

  if I could have given zero stars I would have; this bank, their customer service agents along with upper management do not care about their customers. Citizens Bank has been billing us for an escrow account that we do not have. Claim they will adjust our account after 4 months still being billed, now our account is delinquent because of their inaction because of 4 months of escrow owed. Please stay far away from this bank, they are nothing short of bank fraud.

  I am not sure why people are saying they are not able to pay online, but all of these negative reviews really made me worry when my mortgage was sold to Citizen One. Since it was sold I was able to access their website and make payments online with no issues at all. I have yet to have to call customer service, as everything is in order. So, perhaps I will change this review if something happens in the future. Their website is easy to use and gives me all the information I need. So, no hassle will get you 5 stars in my book.

  I am so disappointed with Citizens One. I just had my home loan transfer to Citizens One. I had my mortgage for 3 years. Never had a late payment. I am a Real Estate Agent. I know most banks are giving customers 90 days extentions to pay their monthly loans. In other words you just don't pay and resume your payments in 90 days without any penalties, credit reporting. I talked to customer service. They will give 90 days but I have to pay my March, April and May within that period of time. My and my husband became all the sudden unemployed. I thanked the customer service representative but it won't make me any good. I JUST DON'T HAVE INCOME and I WON'T IN THE COMING MONTHS! It is a total SHAME knowing that most of the other banks are helping their clients during this challeginf times. I personally will find another bank as soon as I can.

  My loan was sold to these guys at Citizens One Home loans. I have tried to contact them for 2 days now. No one has answered the phone nor have I received any correspondence from them stating they have my loan now. I was only given a name and PO box from the other Mortgage company. Wednesday 3/11/2020 I will be contacting the Attorney General to report a scam.

  Would Give zero stars if could. Customer Service reps are absolutely clueless. Dont seem to want to help o. Anytime I call I get very generic responses and they are not able to find records of past calls. Asked to speak to a manager twice and got disconnected and sent back to the phone menu where I had to wait on hold again. I needed to send a written request which i went to my local bank 4 times to send a fax which the service department claimed all 4 were not received. when ask for alternative options they recommended I mail one in as not on person there must have an email. If getting a loan go elsewhere.

  Customer Service is BY FAR the absolute worst. It doesn’t matter what time you call, there will ALWAYS be a 1-2 hour wait time. Then after waiting on hold for over an hour they hang up on you. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANY LOANS. RUN.
