  I would honestly give it a 0 star. Very unprofessional and misleading. I found 38 dollars taken out of my account when I took nothing out of my account. Me and my mother called them and they said they took it out from the checks they ordered when they said it was free with my account. I am not happy with this company at all whatsoever. Be better with your customers and do not lie to them directly to their face and be misleading.

  All I needed was to notarized a letter and the old lady in her office made it so difficult... the only reason I hv citizens bank at this point is because I hv many automatic payment going throu it. But as soon as I transfer them all to my other bank. Im canceling this citizens bank account. thnaks for making waste my time..

  I am a business customer of Citizens Bank. A customer of mine gave me a check to deposit that was returned for insufficient funds. On February 5, 2013, I made a request to have the check returned to me so I could arrange for other payment with the customer. I was told that Citizens did not have the check, and was given a number to call. This information was incorrect. The banking representative deliberately sent me on a wild goose chase. Citizens did, in fact, have control of the check. Fourteen days passed while I waited for the check, at the end of which I was directed back to Citizens bank. I made another request to have the check returned to me so I can arrange for another method of payment with the customer. I was told it should take about a week. It's now been more than a month. A week later, a branch manager agreed with me that my situation was unacceptable. The manager informed me that she would issue me a proprietary loan in the amount of the check until it arrived. I recieved a special call to tell me the money was there and ready for me to use as I wish. Much later, I viewed my account info to realize that no credit was ever issued. When I called the manager, she told me that she was very sorry that someone higher than her had later cancelled the credit. The money was gone, I still did not have the check. This is affecting the way I am able to run my business. I fully believe that they have lost the check and don't know how to break it to me. The fact that I was lied to several times makes me believe this is a criminal action. It is now 3/26/13, my first request to have the check returned was on 2/5/13, nearly two months ago. I have been lied to repeatedly, and this bank is engaged in shady business practices.

  I have nothing against the people that work for this bank.Their fees and policy's are ridiculous. Canceling my account don't like the inconveniences they have cause my family.

  Worst customer service. Couldn't cut a break for an honest mistake. What happened to decency. The fake apology is the cherry on top. Thanks for ruining my weekend and not cashing my payroll check.

  I went there to apply for a mortgage, Maria attend me and got all my information then she called Casey which I think is the mortgage specialist to review our application, I talked to him and he said he was going to send me a link thru email to finish my application and follow up with him, it's being already more than 10 days and I have not receive the email from him and not even a call, They already pull my credit and yeah it hurt my credit score, which still excellent, I called the Bank today to tell them about this issue and still did not get any answer or attention, it's very disappointing how they service me as a bank and mortgage client.

  A joke. Charges $2.00 for sending out statement. Not easy to deal with. DCU isn't great, but they don't charge for every little thing.

  I would rate a zero if I could. The wait time is always ridiculous, the tellers are not friendly, they never have enough money for you to take out... although it's a bank and they should have cash.

  Convenience yes, but with hidden fees and the exact opposite of personal service. I cancelled my account after three months here.

  Yes I just want to cash a simple check and they were open, then as I go to cash it they say they are closed all rude and then kick me out.
