  The biggest concern of lenders is the lack of transparency and clarity. For the first time, I had a mortgage starts with clarity on payment, cost breakdown, and long-term benefits. Chris has a great process and structured document that helped me make decisions faster. Also, as a tech employee (low base with RSU + Bonus) I had many lenders offering me less than ideal loans to purchase a property. Chris spent time understanding my income breakdown to come up with the best possible scenarios to approve ~40% more than any other lenders I've spoken to. Lastly, Chris and his team are one of the key reasons we were able to own our dream home within less than 3 months. Thank you!

  My wife and I bought a home about 3 hours from where we were living. Chris Granger walked us through every step of the process. Chris would call and give us updates and would even check in on how we were doing with sale of our existing home. We purchased 2 homes in the past and working with Chris on the current home went so much smoother than any of the previous home buys. Chris is the best and we highly recommend Chris and Bay Equity to anyone looking to purchase a new home. He was always available for any questions we had, day or night, even calling us back to answer a question while he was on vacation. Also, John Carnahan kept us updated on what to do to prepare for when the sale was completed which was very helpful in getting ready for our move into our new home.   John & Chris are mortgage miracle workers. John helped us understand that buying a home in the Bay Area is possible and walk us through the various costs and credits of homeownership.   Chris and John are great! It is hard to find someone you can trust and has your best interest in mind but Bay Equity goes above and beyond. Chris and John were very thorough and with you every step of the way. If you need help they will get it done for you. They were always available even for the small questions which I am so grateful for since I don't have much experience buying a home.   Bay Equity has handled two home loans for us in the Alameda area. Chris Granger knocked it out of the park with his creative solutions, quick turnaround and professionalism. He was able to propose many options for our mortgage so we could choose the one that worked the best for us. I was really happy to see the final mortgage payment and down payment he secured for us. Then his good reputation (and John Carnahan too) in town helped us secure a home with financing which can be hard to do in a market with so much cash. Communication was great, we closed quickly and I would recommend Bay Equity to anyone who is trying to buy in this sellers market! If you want to buy, call him to see what kind of loan you could get.
