Chase Bank Reviews

Tony Cook1UPDATE: Dan called, gathered information. Said it was not a requirement that I provide the details I was asked for. The information I was provided at the branch was inaccurate. He went on to say that he would see if the legal business name could be updated without another visit. A week has now passed and no follow up from Dan. Made an appointment to change my legal business name at the Marana location. I spent 35 minutes politely answering every question Linda asked until I refused to answer my business annual revenue (as if it's their business). She refused to continue to name change. Since the brach manager is out for a week I asked who they would report to. I was told Dan McGraw at the Broadway & CC Branch. Called that brand who confirmed both Dan and his assistant were in, but they branch manger refused to transfer me. They gave me another number to call, which twice went to voicemail. Not the same great Chase service they once offered. We'll look for another bank for our business needs while we wait for a return phone call.

A T5I've been a Chase customer for years, but discovered a MAJOR problem with my business account this weekend. Gotta say, I was a pretty unhappy customer when I walked into the branch. Definitely 1 star review time. However, after hearing me out and understanding my situation the banker Sophia M. really went above and beyond to resolve the situation. She followed up multiple times throughout the day and called me after close to let me know she had figured things out. I'm still confused and frustrated with Chase business policies, but Sophia really hit it out of the park. Management, if you're reading this. Give Sophia a promotion, she deserves it!

Johnny51Absolutely the WORST banking experience ever. These people will work harder to NOT help a customer than they will to actually help. Always some hidden fee or bs rule that they will cite in order to refuse to serve a customer. Stay away if you value your time and sanity.

William Carson2Not a huge fan of this bank. Below are the main reasons. 1. They never pick up the phone when you call. This is frustrating because sometimes you just need to talk to a person to get something done. 2. I tried to get a quote for an auto loan and they denied me and said I did not qualify. I am not sure why because I just had an insurance check post on my account for the amount of the loan I was asking for. 3. It seems like the bankers are only focused on selling credit cards. The first thing they always say is “it looks like you are pre-approved for a CC”. I already have a CC through them... just not a very personable experience.

M L1Charlene M deposited my retirement check into SOMEONE ELSE ACCOUNT. She had my bank card AND my Drivers License and still deposited it into someone else's account. When I called to have the issue resolved 17 calls were dropped and when I showed up at the Branch I called the phones in front of the teller and none of them rang. Why they hell aren't the phones being answered!?!?! On top of that a 70lb security officer asked me to leave because I sat in a chair that wasn't meant for me. The branch manager Danielle tried telling me to call the 800 number to deal with the issue. Her response to why this happened was "everyone is human" B*txh EXCUSE ME. You work for the bank. There are no room for mistakes like this to be made. SOMEONE needs to be held responsible. Almost 7 months pregnant dealing with rude customer service for a mistake THEY made. Sitting here exposing myself instead of being at home safe where I belong.

Melinda Mauntel1I very rarely review on Google. But today was truly a horrible experience at this location. All the atms, including a walk up, a drive up, and two inside were not working. Added to that, only two tellers were available for a long line of people forming. There was not a manager anywhere to be seen to apologize for the extreme wait just to get cash, a simple function of a bank. They also don't have a bathroom you the customer can use. What a horrible branch of this international bank who can afford to treat their customer so much better.

Jesus Valenzuela1I had the AUDACITY to deposit my paycheck and the machine eats it and says 7 day hold with no option to return it. Go to a banker and says that he can't do anything. Tell him that I have no food gas or cellphone and that I hadn't eaten in two days, branch manager tells me my emergency isn't his problem, thing is they are actively causing my emergency. I can't borrow money from family or friends because even though I already gave them the check my account is STILL reflecting a negative balance so any money they send me will be immediately taken by them and even then they are charging me fees!!!! Over money for an overdraft I paid off a few hours after it happened. It has now been 3 days since my last meal and it's all because chase is holding my money hostage. I am literally suicidal over this. I have been crying for hours at the frustration of not being able to eat, not being able to contact the bank so I can explain what's going on and the thought of having to walk 3 miles to work again exsausting myself before working a very physically demanding job. Chase isn't only bad they are evil.

Tyrall Antoine1This bank should be closed! My Grandmother banks here and she found out that funds of $4000.00 were missing from her account... We found out that some guy stole her checkbook and made out a check of $4000.00 which she knew nothing about. He went to this branch to cash a check in her name. They did not contact my Grandmother to rectify that this was an odd amount. The signatures didn't even match! They just cashed his check and let him on his way... I tried to contact the banks fraud dept to let this know this was a mistake and they basically told my grandmother that they are not going to fix it. Also, she has colon cancer! She needed that money....

Cheryl Davis1I had to go into this bank for an account I'm on. While there I had them activate the new debit card for the account. Three days later while on vacation in ID I got a call from the fraud dept asking if I had just booked hotels in 2 different states. Very suspicious.

m m1If I could give them negative stars, this review would be accurate. Elsa, the teller refused to help me deposit my rent money into the account my landlord has at chase. I will definitely find a way to bypass this bank at all costs. Having a sleeping baby, one would think a bank may not make you jump through hoops to give them cash money.. not at chase! Oooo, they make ppl chase around money.
