Chase Bank Reviews

Jeff Schwander1The epitome of why banks too big to fail should fail. While most of the employees are friendly, it seems that they can come up with policies on the fly of why they can NOT help their customers. Today all of a sudden a driver’s license was needed to make a deposit on a business account. Not a withdrawal, but a DEPOSIT. At least today she didn’t try to say it was a law. Last time it was a “law” with her, then corrected by the manager to a bank policy.

Justin Willison1We have 2 factor authentication turned on. So NO ONE can log in to our account, without a code that is Texted to Our cellphone. Yet somehow CHASE bank let someone log in and send 99.9% of our money (all but $0.73) via the Zelle payment program. I reported this within 5 minutes of the transaction happening. (When I got the text that I had less then $1 in the acct) Chase gave us our money back (temporarily) then 3 weeks later, took the money back, said WE mustve sent the money to people in other states, and then even charged us overdraft fees, for the account CHASE overdrafted. Chase said call Zelle bc it happened in their portion of the chase app, zelle said call chase, bc its fraud from a chase account, zelle doesnt even have a fraud department.... if you bank with chase, close your account today, before it happens to you. I'd recommend some place like LMCU, bc they are the only local bank I know of that doesnt offer zelle integration on their app/ website. 5/3 & Huntington also offer zelle payment so this could happen there as well... the Local office tells me one thing, the chase fraud office in NY tells me another thing. They just say, it's your fault you were hacked, call the local police. Yet chase refuses to provide any info, including what IP address was logged in, how they logged in, who the money was sent to, etc. Chase is 100% providing zero assistance to us to even be able to file a police report... theyve closed the original account, and we cant see ANYTHING, and they refuse to send us their files. There is clearly a security problem when they allow a login with 2 factor authentication without sending me a text, and then allow someone to clear out your account and not offer ANY protection against that fraud.

Heather Watts5My husband and I went to this branch to open a checking and savings account yesterday. We worked with Mike, who was lovely. We had a great experience with him!
