  This company gets the award for WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced. They bought my original mortgage, they bought my mortgage when I refinanced, and after they are done holding me up from refinancing again, I’m sure the nightmare known as CENLAR will buy it again just so make me miserable again. My motivation to pay off a 30 year mortgage in 10-12 years is not equity, or smart decision making…. It’s so i never have to deal with them again. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  This is the 3rd time I am trying to reach Cen. Bk. serving my escrow loan through Loan Depot. concerning a check of 700 dollars plus that has not reached my mail box way out in hard to find Ohio, USA! Is this a scam that allows the Loan Depot Co. to keep the "unclaimed/cashed" checks ? Guess I will call the Ohio Attorney Gen office tomorrow.

  If I could give zero stars I would. I have been trying to close my Heloc loan with these people for over a month. I have literally made over 15 calls to the company and not one time been satisfied. I’m not usually a complainer or negative review writer but these guys need it! They are terrible!! Avoid working with them at all costs.

  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. This company was our mortgage holder for a year and then sold the loan to a new lender. They never sent our 1098 for taxes and since our loan was no longer active it was not available online. I waited 45 mins for someone to answer. The rep Darnell says she can not access our account and needs to send me to someone else. I ask for the direct # incase I get disconnected, she gives me the SAME number that I just waited on for 45 mins! I ask for a supervisor, at first she says she can’t do it. Finally she says she will get one. Puts me on hold, 3 mins later she comes back and says one is not available and if I want to set up a call back. I say yes I do. Then she says ma’am? and then hangs up on me after I’ve waisted an hour on the phone at this point. Two weeks prior to calling I submitted a request in the automated system to have another 1098 mailed to me since the first never arrived. Overall disappointed with how frustrating it is to get a simple problem fixed, the excessive hold times and the rude lady I had to deal with. Thank goodness our loan got sold to a different company.

  My wife and I currently have a rental property loan with Cenlar. We are in the process of refinancing with a different company. The company we are refinancing with asked us for our most recent mortgage statement with Cenlar. This information is not in the online portal so we called 10 different times, have spent more than 10 hours, and still do not have a copy of the mortgage statement. If I could give a negative score for Cenlar, I would. This could be the worst customer service experience we have ever had.

  I was very disappointed when Wells Fargo sold my mortgage to CENLAR. They have terrible customer service. Their website is confusing. Their correspondence and mortgage coupon booklet is a joke. They also advertise the FMV of your home but refuse to remove you from your PMI obligation even when your remaining payments drop below the required 80%.

  Terrible Company!!! Because they made mistake with my online payment, they try to apply 30 days late payment to the credit bureau. I spent one hour on the line with the Customer Service, and they agree that they made a mistake. Now, they asked me to open the case and send the details. Why should I do this if your company made a mistake?

  Everything is difficult with Cenlar. I cannot imagine a less competent mortgage servicer.

  I got a letter from this place claiming that my payment has been return and i owe them 20 dollars extra I looked on my banking app and nothing was returned i called them and the service representative didn't know anything but according to her i supposedly still owe them money when I log on to the website it says that i owe them nothing now im worried that im going to get some call from a dept collector or something they r just a huge headache
