  Two words I will use to describe Bain and Cedar Mill Mortgage-Simply Phenomenal ! I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so after my experience with Bain. This is the second time I am going through the home buying process . I can say with 100% confidence that Bain is cut from a different cloth. Bain is knowledgeable and competent above all. He is patient , friendly, reliable, honest and transparent. Bain is also incredibly responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend Cedar Mill Mortgage to anyone. Excellent customer service.

  Pam with Cedar Mill Mortgage was a heaven-send. I had previously spoken with two other mortgage brokers who provided me with incorrect information. Pam took the time to listen and research. She provided my husband and I with accurate answers to all our questions. She returned all of our calls in a timely manner. Her estimates were accurate and her advice was on point.   If you are refinancing or moving and have mortgage needs, please do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Cedar Mill Mortgage. The purchaser of our home is using them and, due to the inability of Cedar Mill Mortgage to follow their client's direction and do their job, there are now 3 families in a really bad situation. I personally spoke with Bain and not only was he deceitful in answering questions, he also contradicted information I already knew to be true.

  It has long been said that there are two sides to every story. This is one of those times. Cedar Mill Mortgage has been in business for 20+ years because we treat our customers with respect and always do our best to take a buyer from application to closing. When we issue a “Pre Approval” letter at the beginning of any transaction it is because we feel we will get our clients approved by underwriting and to the closing table. In this case, the buyer of the property was “Conditionally” approved by underwriting and we were working on final conditions when the Covid-19 virus hit and the Lender who approved the loan pulled out of the market. There is no way we could have seen this coming. We are sorry we were not successful in placing the loan file with another lender and couldn’t finalize the buyers loan, but we were not deceitful at any point during this process.

  Pam was very patient and helpful as she helped us with a refinance on our home. Thanks to the active hurricane season in September, I was unsure of my travel schedule as we neared closing. Pam helped setup our closing so that it could be completed while I was out of town if needed. This helped tremendously as I was dealing with the uncertainty of my work schedule. Thanks Pam!
