  My wife and I were very pleased with our experience with Jason Cattell. He and his staff were knowledgeable about the process and very patient while walking us through our purchase.   My husband and I worked with Tatiana Hall. We worked with her for a few weeks trying to get through pre-approval. Tatiana led both our realtor and I to think we were going to get an approval at a specified amount and all we needed to get our official pre approval letter was a job transfer letter for my husband. Over the next week we obtained that letter & our Realtor found us some properties within that budget. Tatiana text me the day before we flew out to Houston Texas (coming from California) that she would have it ready by that afternoon. She asked me for a few more documents and I got those to her as well. We got to Houston the next morning and looked at 3 properties. We found one we wanted to write an offer on and still had not heard back from Tatiana. Hours later I get a call from her Saying she can’t give us the preapproval based on our debt to income ratio. We were beyond in shock because before she led us to believe all we needed was the transfer letter. If she had really looked at our file she would’ve known our debt to income wasn’t good enough from the start. Her “miscommunication” costed us a pointless trip to Houston & disappointed in what was supposed to be our first home. Luckily we have found a new Loan Officer that was able to get us where we needed to be.

  We are very grateful for this company. When first starting to buy a home we came to them. They helped in every possible way. They answered our questions and gave advice on how to get our credit acceptable to home buy. We were able to come back about a year or more later and were approved to buy home. Jason Cattell went above and beyond while already busy and took time to show us several homes. We finally found the one perfect for our family. Him and his team work in such excellence and unity. We changed our loan during buying process and loan company messed up and Jason was excellent in helping us through this process. We are very grateful and highly recommend this company!   My husband and I purchased our first home during this unfortunate “Covid-19 Pandemic” using Cattell Mortgage. Cattell mortgage entire team did everything they said they were going to do from the start. We thought it was all “ to good , to be true”. Through the grace of God ,We found the perfect home for our family and received an amazing interest rate. We applied through two mortgage companies, but found Cattell mortgage to be the most responsive and professional. Jason Cattell and his entire team(Travis, Ivey, Matt, Chris)worked very hard on our loan until closing.If you do everything they advise you to do, you will close! Thanks Cattell Team!

Jason, Matt, and Ivey worked hard to get us the best rate (which by the was so great that even the people at the title company commented on how great it was). They all were very patient with us and answered all of our questions.   I bought my second home in 2018 using Cattell Mortgage. As in any home buying process, we were faced with several challenges that had nothing to do with the lender, or myself, but the company and real estate agent was very knowledgeable and made me aware of everything that was available to me. If I buy a house in this area again, I would definitely use Cattell again!
