  I highly recommend Catalyst Mortgage and specifically Loan Originator, Will Harlen, for first mortgage or refinance. Great rates, low cost and excellent customer service make Catalyst the best choice for all finance options. I had been working with another lender to refinance my home, consolidate a first and second mortgage and pull a small amount of cash out. The other lender’s closing costs were high as was their interest rate. In the four weeks I worked with that lender, I spoke with three different people, in two time zones. When I would call with questions, I’d leave a voicemail and they’d call me back – usually when I didn’t have my question or documents in front of me. We were nowhere near approval or closing four weeks after all documents were uploaded to their website. I called Catalyst Mortgage after receiving a mailer and reached Will Harlan. Will gave me a quick estimate of the cost to refinance my home. It was significantly lower than the other lender. The closing costs were roughly half what that lender was going to charge, and the interest rate was also lower. I got serious about uploading documents after Will’s email on May 21. We signed the refinance yesterday, June 21. Will helped me through the whole process, from that first phone call, through gathering and uploading (or faxing, texting or emailing, my choice) all documents. Will was available to answer questions 24/7. When I reached his voicemail, he called back within minutes. He also gave me his cell phone number in case I had issues on weekends. I had dragged my feet for months, dreading the refinance process. I helped my mother and another friend through uploading documents, and it was a nightmare (neither of these loans were with Catalyst). Will and Catalyst made refinancing easy for me, AND the process is saving me thousands of dollars, even much over what the other lender was offering.

  Got flyer in mail. my previous broker who we started with in April loan fell through twice. About quit but after conversation with Erica they were confident me and my wife could get approved. My wife has variable Income so made harder get UW approval. The process was pretty easy as catalyst filled out all Information and was able offer rate under 3%. The whole refiance process took about 30 days. The only surprise really was catkyst is correspodennt lender where they fund loans but another company services them. After getting UW approval loan close and got really good servicer in newrez. Also Erica loan servicer Sarah was amazing to work with and always there answers your question. I will update review with loan servicer after couple of months

  Matt Matsuda Delivered!!! From the first day I spoke to Matt I knew I was in good hands. He is very accommodating, knowledgable, professional and personable. He knows his stuff!   Matt with Catalyst Mortgage is a great asset to the company. I've used him twice to refinance my home. With Matt there is no sugar coding anything. He gives you all the information and explain things well to make sure you have a full understanding on what's going on during the refinance stages.   I am highly recommend this mortgage company. I am very appreciate William Harlan that take the hardest burden on our shoulders away. I tried to refinance with other company for the past 4 months, everything still pending, their underwriter kept coming back to us with a lot of conditions (even we are always accommodating their conditions) We are own a automotive repair shop, self employed. We have all the income go thru our bank account. I couldn’t understand why i cant refi. When i talked to Will the first time, he is very professional and know his stuffs. I feel I can trust him right from the first time. He is clear, do what he say, and follow-up to make sure things go smoothly and as fast as possible.   I have had THE best experience with Catalyst Mortgage! My loan officer was Matt Matsuda and he was incredible! I have to admit I was hesitant at first because we found this lending office through a mailer, but we gave him a chance anyways. I knew from the moment we spoke on the phone that he was not only knowledgeable, but honest! He was able to do my complete refi over phone & email. Matt is extremely hard working and has great communication. I’m the end, he got us the best rate, we got cash out and the refi was at zero cost. That may not be the market forever, but when we do our future loans on other properties, we can be sure that what Matt promises, he delivers. Integrity is everything and he stands behind his word! We can’t say enough about our incredible & hassle-free experience! I’ve already referred my sister and will refer many more. I’m such a happy customer!

  After shopping around for a refi, I settled on Catalyst Mortgage. They offered the best rate and were able to structure the refi according to my needs which many other institutions were unwilling to do. I had the pleasure of working with Duc-Hanh. I found her to be knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and she took the time to answer all my questions regarding every aspect of the refinance process. When I became caught up in other work, she was able to help me stay on track with the refinance which kept the whole process to a minimum time frame which saved me money on interest. If you are in the market for a refi, I highly suggest getting in touch with Catalyst Mortgage and Duc-Hanh.

  I am a first time home buyer, catalyst mortgage reached out to me after I had inquired on a new home purchase, I had the the pleasant opportunity to have Duc-Hanh Nguyen as my loan officer. I told her my situation and she found the loan that best suited my needs. After receiving my loan approval letter, the search was on! Luckily I found a home within a couple of weeks and put in a offer! Duc-Hanh was so efficient, kind, and knowledgeable. She took care of EVERYTHING from start to finish and was very active in communicating with my agent and myself. 30 days of escrow and my home was closed with no issues at all!! I highly recommend catalyst mortgage, and more importantly refer you to request Duc-Hanh Nguyen as your loan officer!

  Will Harlan was outstanding to work with. Unlike other mortgage companies I got quotes from Will stayed in constant touch daily from the time I got a quote till my loan closed. The other large mortgage companies I tried working with I could barely get them to call me back. Will is transparent and honest. Go talk to Will Harlan, you wont be disappointed.
