  Do you need a bank card that works half the time and declines pretty much everywhere for absolutely no apparent reason? How about an ATM that will cancel your cash deposits if your bills aren’t fresh from the mint? Maybe you’re looking for a horrible app that regularly crashes and locks you out of your account? How about staff that play pass the puck and refuse to be of assistance with any of these issues? Look no further! Citizens and farmers has given me nothing but headaches. Trying to open a new account and transfer your money? Not with them. They deny every single 3rd party platform for payment options. Don’t even get me started on their sketchy hotlines. Your money will be so safe and secure that not even the rightful owner can access it.

  We recently moved our banking to C & F on our attorney’s recommendation of their trust management. The customer service and friendliness at both the Patterson Ave. and Lauderdale branches was refreshing. During my first visit to the West Broad branch today, I was just as pleased with the experience. We look forward to all our future C & F banking.

  Finally, I have found a good bank. I have been with C&F for about a year. Sensible fee policies, no nasty surprises, very pleasant tellers. I am very happy banking with them. To be more specific about the fee policies - most banks I have dealt with in the past juggle around your transactions to trigger overdraft fees. So you can deposit money, buy something the next day and somehow get stuck with an overdraft fee, even though the money was in there. Not at C&F. Here, if you make a deposit you can go spend it immediately without worry. (As long as your deposit is good, of course) I highly recommend C&F for personal as well as small business banking.

  I Love my bank, although I Really wish they had bank to bank transfer. It makes it hard, (as I am disabled & don't get out much) and I always have to go to the branch and withdraw money then take it to my husband's bank to deposit it. It would A LOT better if we could just go online and transfer the money. Sincerely, J.Bunting
