Denise Lewis5As a college graduate with years of student loan debt and as someone who also suffered medical issues which piled on more debt working with Budget Control Services to resolve my medical debt was a professional and excellent experience. Specifically working with Jason Moore who was understanding of my situation was very compassionate and professional and really helped me find a way to absolve my debt in a way that did not add more hardship to my life. I absolutely applaud this company for the work they do and the way they do it.

Pattie DiS5I paid a collection account and they were professional in explaining all the details. As a result my credit score went up. The woman I spoke with, was very kind. Not sure but I think it was Theresa. I would recommend calling them. Thanks!

Shane Grigsby1To businesses they may be thinking of hiring them to recover a debt...steer clear! They have cost their client well over $100 in collection fees (process servers sent to the wrong address after I'd moved out of state) for a debt that they will not recover *any* funds from now, as the statute of limitations will pass in the coming months. This is money they are costing their client by choice-- I called and made an offer to settle an account with them (account is in error and not owed by me, but I was open to removing from my credit report regardless), and was both cursed at and hung up on. How on earth is that supposed to help with a recovery or settlement? On a previous call they also made demonstrably false statements. Extremely unprofessional.

The owner and management team are some of the best to work for. They are very supportive and want you to see you succeed. If I could rate the company higher I would.

Tracy Fenner2Alright here we go. A truly interesting organization. I received a letter I owed approx 220.00. I sent a validation letter asking for proof. Well they sent an itemized list of rubbish anyone could have drafted such nonsense. The validation letter was ignored with questions as a consumer I was entitled to. According to the FTC that is. Now I spoke to a few folks Steve nice guy willing to listen. Jason Young kid not real savvy and probably one of the minons. Anyway long story short to get this validated it will take time. This company has you by the short hairs and your credit. I was grateful to Steve he kept it off my credit until I was able to investigate it. But as time goes on it will go on my credit whether it's mine or not. I will pay the alleged debt and be done with that. I will investigate hippa laws as this company discussed med procedures not even knowing its the right person. No release of information so now I contacted the OCR. If you owe a debt pay it if you can. whether this is my debt or not I paid it as its just a small amount. Since I had a stroke life has been kind of boring. These guys have given me purpose I thank you for that. I'm looking forward to there response Mr Fenner we are so on and so on. Oh and we are hippa compliant. Alleged debt done very small amount bottom feeders. Please ask before discussing any medical bill did I sign or did I not sign a release of information for medical discussion. I now know everything about the medical visit of the alleged debt very interesting. They are asking you to pay a bill not talk about treatment. (Or hippa violation) I hear it's a small fine. Finally Work with Steve not our young guy Jason though he was nice he is inexperiencedand and sounds bothered. I had told them I would send payment by mail. But I was advised otherwise. This is due to a comment by made Jason not neg or pos just interesting. Absolutely please look into everything when dealing with any collection agency. Dark web and poor integrity brings out worst in people.. Budget will work with you as they are a business. As long as you follow up with them they seem reasonable Remember they are building relationships as there money wheel shows off on there web site. Keep that wheel turning Disgusting Quick update to all. Absolutely no contact from budget saying debts has been paid. This is now over one week alleged debt paid. 05/24/21 no update. They still have not said the debt was paid. Keep that wheel turning boys. Update 06/07/21 I did get a statement with a 0 balance. The management team of course answered to my comment. That's great they sent closure and I hope they do for all customers. Hippa issue nothing to discuss at this point.08/01/21 Hippa update nothing to discuss at this point will continue to add follow ups as I know more. More to come folks Hippa violations are serious.

PATRICIA CROWLEY5I worked for this company for 10yrs and the owner and the manager are awesome people. The staff I worked with at the time was rough at times but nothing to complain about. If I'd had to I'd apply to work for them again in a heart beat.. thank you BCS for training me to e the best collector I can be.. patricia crowley'jordan I miss you guys 😭

There is always someone there to answer the phone and they are quick to resolve any issues we have. This company by far exceeds the performance of the agencies we have used in the past.

Katey Johnson1I am attempting to pay my debt with this company. I went and called Friday morning and was supposed to receive an email regarding my payment arrangement. I did not receive this email. I call 1st thing Saturday morning, as I work nights and when I called Friday night they were closed. I was told by Steve Hunter that there is noone available to reforward my e-mail because that office is closed. He told me I was yelling at him when in fact I had the phone on speaker phone. I was very nice to him. He was very condescending, did not say good bye, did not say any other salutation to me. I will attempt a call again on Monday. I see other people have left feedback that this company is very professional I find this attitude rude and not helpful.
