  I am so grateful for this credit union! I haven’t taken advantage of the workshops etc yet but they are a true community bank. I’ve always been helped with excellent customer service whether by phone, email or in person. Managers Rebecca and Manny have both helped me immensely and and other staff in both locations are always friendly.

  Tammy W. IS A TREASURE HERE!!!!!!!!!!! I have been banking at a corporate bank for maybe 19 years — A friend recommended I come see Tammy here instead of my usual tax preparer. I have NEVER received this caliber of customer service and I am now planning on utilizing ALL of my financials services here! THANK YOU SO MUCH, TAMMY!!

  My Dad had an account of $500 in which he never touched (2018). He had been back in forth in the hospital with health issues between 2018-2019. This account has been expuged by the Credit Union theirselves. They were deducting $15.00 and $17.00 for maintenance fees till all the money in his account was gone. When he was well enough, he went to see about his account and they told him his account was close and there was no funds and that his account was old. "Please be aware of this information"!!!! I thought financial institutions help grow your hard working $$$ not dispel it. (WATCH OUT FOR MAINTENANCE FEES) :-(

  Dear Vee, we are sorry that you and your father did not have a good experience with us. While we do not have monthly membership fees for savings accounts, we do charge $15 monthly fees after an account has become inactive. An inactive account would be one that has not had any deposits in the past 3 years.

  I've been a member for over 5 years and travel a great deal. Dealing with the staff here is a 50/50 shot for accomplishing your goal. Recently had the misfortune of dealing with REBECCA at this location who left me on hold for over five minutes then just hung up. No follow up. This was s after recently dealing with her prior and her giving me bad information about changing my pin. Honestly I'm changing banks as soon as I get back~ Then responded to my comment with straight lies. That I placed them on hold, etc. I'm not looking for a challenge. I needed help with my acct and still do. That's all!

I would like to clarify that most recently you had been speaking to a different staff member who claims that you had placed her on hold. Unfortunately, she was not able to remain on hold as she had members coming into the branch that she needed to help.   Brooklyn FCU offers financial workshops, free tax help and loans for small ventures. They provide great community banking and opportunities to Brooklyn residents. The staff there have always treated me respectfully and patiently and honestly I’ve been so poor most of my life I have banking phobia, Brooklyn FCU is where I’ll be banking permanently. Thanks guys.
