  I handed the notary a document that contains two pages. I had this same exact document notarized in the past for a two dollars fee. After he notarized the document he told me in these exact words : “ that would be $20” and I argued with him that on the door it says $10. He told me it says $10 and up which was correct since the hour was late. I told him I don’t have a $20 bill and asked him if he had change from a $100 bill. So at this point it was very clear that he wanted $20 for signing these two page translation of a document Which is also extremely expensive. 10 times the usual price. I handed him the $100 bill and he gave me back only $60. I told him that he gave me back only $60 and he said that it’s because the document contains two pages. $10 and up turned into $40 which is ridiculous For just signing the translation document. I am not deaf and not dumb. He told me I had to pay him $20 for the whole thing. Just got off the phone with my aunt that is an attorney and Notery and she told me that even though the document was handed in at 10pm there is a legal fee and this fee is completely illegal and outrageous. I also don’t think he notarized my translation correctly. ‏ he just signed the translation without writing anything. He didn’t write that he read the translation and the translation is correct or that I am familiar with both languages and I testify that the translation is a true translation of the document. I will have to do this all over again. I am going to show the document next week to my aunt and see how to proceed with this matter. I’m going to notarise the document correctly tomorrow since I need it urgently. This is really a scam!!! My advice is to stay away!!!

  A lot of these comments are misleading cause this man was about to charge me $20 for a mf signature like what??? I understand I went a lil late, but that’s no reason to try to overcharge ppl. His signature are $2 weekdays and weekends $5. If I wouldn’t have opened my mouth and ask him why $20 he would’ve overcharge me. He wanna come and say price changed because of the time like if I went at 1am or 2am in the morning then wanna give me 3 different prices. CALL BEFORE YOU GO AND ASK FOR THE PRICE CAUSE HE GONNA TRY TO TRICK YOU AND OVERCHARGE YOU. And I am 1000% sure he does not give refund so don’t even try it. ppl of color don’t give refund sorry to say 🤦🏾‍♀️ 🙄🙄 Reply: First off don’t call or text my phone saying “don’t come back, thank you” because that’s very disrespectful and rude. Second, as a first time customer I should have never been treated like that, plus when I called to find out about the prices I wasn’t told that until I went and got your card, so don’t come with dat disrespect. But again had to be an unprofessional and disrespectful African man… What else???

  Just as other stated this guy is totally ripping people off. I texted to check price first and I'll glad I didnt go. Despite regular office hours and one single paper to notarize he comes up with some excuse of a 10$ charge lol. I found a tax place who did it for free! Dont waste your money here.

  1) Was definitely overcharged for printing and notary ($40?!?! for a few pages) 2) The notary expiry date was manually written and was invalid by the time it reached the passport office (i shipped it a day after the documents were notarized). Granted it could have been an honest mistake, I had to pay double the fees to send those documents back again. For correcting the notary error, I decided to go to another notary office because I could not trust this business.

  This is a long awaited review, 5 stars plus 5 more . Ice been coming here since before covid. Exceptional customer service , very punctual and how can I forget 24 hours!!!! Yku ever had to do business b4 your 5am flight last minute ??? Trust me , he's your guy to the rescue . Now when covid kicked in I thought I lost my favorite notary , but he came back even better and with full covid awareness. Now you can conduct your services at the walk up window . Very impressive. He's not only a notary he also scans fax prints email you name it . He can even get you married !!! A great personality over all. 2018 - present and I haven't been to another notary since !!! Anybody I refer has the same remarks . I even have my dad coming here now lol . Thank you so much for helping out our community ❤
