  JoColby Harrell helped me set up the mortgage loan through the VA. The process was smooth! During the timeline from start to finish there were days I actually forgot my role in the overall process. Fortunately for me JoColby had my back because he kept me in the loop the whole time and I didn’t have to worry about something going wrong. Overall, BlackHawk Mortgage is a great company to work with because their employees are passionate about what they do. 10/10 would recommend!

  I have been a mortgage loan officer for 30+ years. I recently bought a house in a state where I am not licensed to do business, so I needed to find a loan officer to help me get a mortgage. I checked with my favorite lender to see who they would recommend as a loan officer in that state. They gave me Phillip's name and phone number and said he was their top guy in the area. Phillip was a pleasure to work with. Phillip was organized, direct, and pro-active. I did my best to be a good borrower, by providing him with all of the documentation he needed, and providing it to him as quickly as possible. Phillip was working on our behalf, so I wanted to make his job as easy as possible. We shortened our closing timeframe considerably, soon after beginning the process. Phillip made the necessary adjustments without missing a step. He is the kind of guy who is able to get the job done. We closed on time in spite of working with a troublesome escrow attorney. I am 100% positive that our smooth and on-time closing was due to Phillip's persistence and attention to detail. In addition to all of this, we were kept informed throughout the entire process. I always felt like I was in good hands with Phillip handling our mortgage. The lender was right - Phillip is a top level loan officer and professional. We were very lucky to have Phillip work to get us our mortgage. Thank you Phillip, for all of your efforts on our behalf.

  My experience with BlackHawk Mortgage was outstanding! Usually when I go through a major process, the experience can be stressful. However our rep for BlackHawk was Jocolby Harrell. Jocolby is knowledgeable, experienced, and very passionate about his work at BlackHawk. He handled our refinancing in a professional and efficient manner.
