  We had such a great experience using Bentley & Leenher as our mortgage lender. We had no clue what we were doing being first time home buyers but Derek was patient and helpful every step of the way, especially with the questions we had. He got us great rates and he worked with the title company, our realtor, and the sales team to make sure we had everything ready at closing. Overall such an easy and great experience for us.

  Derek worked with my husband and I in purchasing our very first home, and also in refinancing a few years later. He made the daunting process of refinancing a home surprisingly easy by walking us through the entire process/documentation and promptly answering all of our questions via email and phone, even after office hours. There were no surprises, and he worked hard to make sure we got the maximum loan available for our situation. He is transparent, knowledgeable, and super friendly to work with -- I highly recommend him!

  Derek Leenher did such a great job at helping me buy my first home. He worked hard to get me the best estimate/quotes for closing costs and the best interest rate. He took my calls/texts even outside of working hours. I felt like I could trust him with my money and to walk me through the ins and outs of applying for a loan, underwriting, and closing. I truly felt like he was an advocate for me and handled the communications with the lender, realtor, title co., and whoever else was involved. Derek was friendly and pleasant to work with. He understood this was my first home and did not make me feel stupid when I didn't understand something. He made the whole process as stress free as possible. I would recommend him 100 times over.

  Derek Leenher assisted me with not only purchasing my first home but also refinancing my home less than a year after after the purchase date due to getting the co-borrower off the deed of my house. He is by far the most reliable, patient and kind person to work with. Without Derek, I wouldn't be writing this review sitting in the house of my dreams!
