  I recently closed on a home in Hampton Roads and my experience with Ben, my lending agent, was outstanding. For much of the mortgage process I was still in Texas so I had to work with Ben over the phone and through emails for the majority of the time. Ben was always diligent to get me a response if I had a question on my loan documents. When I finally arrived into town on the day of my closing everything was so organized that my closing appointment was complete in 20 minutes. A lot of the ease in closing was because Ben and the Tidewater Mortgage team were so organized and worked seamlessly with my realtor. Of the three times I have purchased a home, this was the least stressful by far. Did I mention Tidewater Mortgage also secured me the lowest rate I’ve ever received, beating all other lending agencies by over .3 APR.

  Ben was so very helpful throughout the whole refinancing process. He was patient when I asked lots of questions and very informative about the industry and various finance options available. He really built a rapport and he gave the upmost customer service, working around my crazy work hours. If your looking for a first time mortgage or you are looking to refinance, Ben is wonderful to work with and really wants what is best for his customers.

  This was my first home purchase and Ben was available around the clock to address all my needs. Not only did he address my needs, he made it a point to talk with my Dad to make sure we were all on the same page.   The best part about working with Ben was it felt like we were working with a friend. It was smooth, it was easy, all our questions were answered, and he never made it too overwhelming.   Ben worked with us for about 8 or 9 months helping us build our credit up so we could buy a house. He was very patient in explaining everything to us and really took the time to ensure we understood the process. If it wasnt for Ben's knowledge and constant support we may not have been ready to buy a home when we did. I would highly recommend Ben to any of my family and friends.

  Ben Munson is a great Mortgage Loan Officer. Very professional and all around great guy. He even showed up to closing, from what I understand most loan officers don't do that. He answered any and all questions I had, and even helped me after closing with more questions I had about the whole process. He is there for you to help you make the best choice for you, and he knows what he's doing. If I ever go through this process again I hope Ben is involved!
