  Jennifer and her team are great! The whole experience was very smooth. This was my first time buying a house and let me tell you..they took care of us! If you would like to purchase a home Jen is the lender to go to. She is very sweet but straight forward. She has a lot of knowledge in the whole home buying process. If you have issues with your credit she can help assist with that! She's a one stop shop. If I had a question by email, text or phone, it was always returned in a timely manner. Well almost immediately! We love our new home. The area is so nice and quiet! I couldn't be more greatly. Thank you all for everything. We look forward to working with you in the near future.

  We worked with Jennifer when we bought our house, and recently during our refinance almost five years later. Jennifer came to our home when we were unable to come to her. It was as if those five years hadn’t passed at all. She was great with our daughter who kept interrupting to show her things she had drawn and written.   Here’s the deal. Want a great rate? Want fantastic service? Want someone to talk to you like a real person and not just a client? Well, McLean is for you. I originally stated with MUCH bigger Mortage company and our agent turned us to McLean and I’m so happy that she did. Simply said, it was an amazing experience. Oh, and when you decide to use McLean, go ask for Candace Howard as she’s the best. I wouldn’t do anything different. Nothing.

  If your looking to buy a home then Candace is the person you want as your loan officer. She is always there for you. She explains everything in simple terms. She lays out all your options. She doesn't treat you as another client, she treats you as a family member. Thank you Candace it was really a great experience working with you on our loan.

  Jerry and his team have been steadfast professionals over the last four months. We started the loan approval process back in December and have encountered several obstacles along the way. My dad and I were going to purchase our forever home together as he required caregiving and we needed a bigger space in which to merge. Sadly, his health took a toll for the worse and he passed at the end of January. Essentially, we had to start over with me solely qualifying for the loan. I had to wait for my dad’s estate to shift over to me and Jerry literally met with financial advisors and attorneys to help expedite this process. I sold my dad’s home of 23 years and then scrambled to sell my home of 20. Then there were issues with a couple of structures on the new property, which were eventually resolved; but it made for another climb on this rollercoaster of a journey to closing. I was overwhelmed with unexpectedly losing both of my parents within five months. I also have two teenagers, who also lost their other grandfather in the same week my father passed. Throw in teaching nearly 300 college students and serving as the Undergraduate Program Director for 1,400 psychology majors and I’m sure you can imagine how slow I was with finding and scanning the necessary documents for the loan approval. I state all this to underscore the patience Jerry and Angela exhibited with me. I think I held my breath until the end. I wanted this house so badly as it represents a happier next chapter. Things have been nonstop for months on end. Sometimes you don’t find the opportunity to pause and thank someone for their monumental support, so I appreciate this opportunity to do so. Never was I happier to hear the words “clear to close” and to sign those documents officially making this house my own. I know this is business as usual in this line of work but, to me, this is a dream come true. I have tremendous gratitude for Jerry and his team for their help in making it a reality.
