  BECU in lake city has been a place of great trust for all my banking needs. It was the first place I’ve opened an account and still have accounts there today. The Consultant helping over the years has been Brendan Floresca Alvarez. He is absolutely professional and helpful when it comes to all your banking needs. He plays a key role in the branch. Thank you so much for all the years of help.

  The staff have really been helpful every time I have asked for assistance. Patient and knowledgeable. I think the OVERALL less-than-stellar rating is because people typically don't spend time to review a service unless their angry and wanting to vent. I love BECU and this location in particular.

  Today I became a member of BECU. After years of having Bank of America, I am finally out of that nightmare and into the lovely, caring arms of BECU. Ethan G. helped me create my account today and was so lovely and helpful. He was funny, and very welcoming. This man deserves a raise! Very great customer service. Very happy to be a member of this bank.

  Really enjoy the people at this bank. Every person I talked to about getting an auto loan started were informative and pleasant to speak with. They made the process easy and easy to understand for a first time car buyer.

  Very happy with my service, provided yesterday at this branch! At first i was like oh no they are so busy, sat down and they brought me back quick. Daryl helped me and my brother and he was amazing, very thorough and helpful and had they best customer service. Thank you!

  Went to withdraw money at this location and the ATM shorted me 40$ now I have to wait 5 business days for it to go under review, I tried calling customer care for help, was on hold for 30min just to be told there is nothing they can do on there end by a extremely, I guess I just gave em free money, I filed a claim and was not even given a tracking number or any information, and was told I did not have enough tenure to be a priority customer, how can you be a cashless bank with ATM'S that dont work? 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎#LastTimeIUseBECU

  Have always dealt with extremely helpful staff that seem to genuinely have my best interest in mind. I still don’t get why people use traditional banks when credit unions like BECU exist.

  This CU is not even close to the standards of quality, features and technology when compared to big banks like Chase. I am amazed how many ppl say CU are better. They simply do not know how to bank like me. CU pretends to be something it's not...pretending to be superior when in fact inferior. CU steal money and charge customers for stupid things like a debit card replacement when lost and if you get a fee well tough luck. Chase is 10 times better than this rubbish of CU. Just play by their rules and i promise you won't get hit with fees. Chase online banking is amazing...in fact the best of any US bank. CU is inferior with incompetent ppl. Nooo thanks.

Unlike banks, we don't report to shareholders, who expect high returns on their investment. In fact, we don't even have shareholders – we're owned by our members and we exist solely to serve our members. Rather than worry about making money, we spend our time ensuring members spend less of their dollars, which is why we never charge to reissue a debit card. We understand we're not going to be the right fit for everyone and we encourage you to choose the best fit for you.
