  BS Service For A Credit Union Frustrating place to bank. You can't call the branch directly. When you call the main number, "We value your time and your wait is at least 10 minutes." There is no option to leave a call back number. Their website has a link to desktop chat. Follow that link and there is no desktop chat. That is BS for a credit union to have such poor customer service and a website that evidently no one checked. Once again BECU has wasted my time. Tried to change my address online. Their website instructions are wrong. Maybe they need to hire a high school student to de-bug the site. They don't even respond to their own chat. One more time and I'll switch banks. This is BS. Once again BECU has wasted my time. They didn't pick up for 13 minutes. Then the rep said, "Oh, just a minute ago we weren't busy!" As if that helps. They are clueless. The rep would NOT give me the phone nimber for the local branch. That's no way to run a bank. And certainly no way to run a credit union. This is a classic MBA case study of poor customer service.

  Great Local Credit Union Branch office. Boeing Employee's Credit Union, or BECU for short, is a local bank/credit union in Washington State. BECU is not restricted to only "Boeing Employee's" you just need to be a Washington Resident. The biggest selling point is it is not-for-profit and maintains a community and member driven philosophy. This branch has a fresh and new feel. There a two self-service ATM machines as you walk in, which can be accessed with your debit card after hours, when the branch is closed. You slide your card to gain entere to the mini-lobby which has the ATM machine. During business hours, they offer a variety of services, such as applying for a loan, which can be done online as well, or setting up a Joint Account, which cannot be done online, as of now.... The staff was very friendly, as which is usually synonymous to other BECU facilities.

  It's a great location if all you need is an ATM. They have 2. Like most of their branches, the people are there for more complex banking needs like loans, getting a new bank card, etc... But cashing a check is an odd process of depositing it into the ATM, then withdrawing cash as a second operation. It works, but has always felt a bit odd.

  This is my local branch so I go here pretty often. Every time I come to this location everyone is helpful and polite. My card was not working and BECU staff worked through it step by step to fix it.

  I wanted to open a business account, but the staff was very snooty, and made me not want to bank with BECU. Sad this was my first experience with the bank. I may try another location.
