      The only good thing about my service today was a customer service representative named Nakia Crotez. The very bad part was a representative named Teri Riley. I understand that ATM machines have problems from time to time and this happened to me yesterday 8/31/21. The machine took over $1500 in cash from me and printed a receipt that said we encountered a problem returning your cash. I came into the credit union at 9am sharp (8:45 and waited till open). I was met by a gentleman that explained a situation that was not satisfactory to my needs and I asked for a manager. He let me know that the manager was not on site and I would need to wait until she arrived which i was ok with. As I sit quietly and respectfully in the lobby I was approached by Terri Riley and her attitude. She began to tell me that there is no manager and started challenging me as to why I am waiting, she said at some point we will not issue a credit as I am trying to get a word in over her aggressive nature with me. She finally says "that's it" and storms off as if she is going to have her way no matter what and show me. I am a long time customer with BECU I have multiple accounts ie.mortaguage, credit cards, and business acocunts. I don't not need my financial institution treating me in a manner that is disrespectful to the point I'm questioning what is this person's problem with me. I am a black man in a white area and I do not dress in suits but my money is as good as a person who is white and in a suite and I bet the treatment would have been different if I were the latter. I started this by saying that the only good part was Nakia Cortez and I stand by that. She was so thourough and helpfull that when she was done I felt that my situation was taken care of to the best of BECU's ability, so much so that I didn't even need to talk to a manager after I saw her come in the branch. Please have a meeting with Teri Riley and provide her with the necessary traing to reach Nakia's customer service level of quality and care.

      I don't really like this bank. It has good rates that's the only reason I give it 2 stars. The parking is not easy to get into when it's busy, and because of the pandemic they make people sign in. The tiny lobby is crammed pack full of people sometimes. I went there and I was on the cash machine and another person walked in, then another then a person came out of the locked doors, then a teller came out to call a name from the sign in sheet. Then 2 more people came in to sign in. The lobby is only big enough for 3 people, 3 cash machines. Not 6 or 7 or 8. Uugghh. Just don't like the set up. If you need to sign in, why can't you then wait outside? Away from cash machines?

      You have to do everything through an ATM. High likelihood I'll be moving my banking somewhere else.

      Been with this credit union for atleast 5 years I have good credit I have income but apparently I'm a peasant to them that doesn't deserve to be granted a loan of any sort. Sick of being told NO by my credit union then another credit union I'm not even with will help me! Not cool used to think becu was great but it's not. I shouldnt have to have loans spread all over different credit unions. Becu, because you own nothing!

      Our Mobil banking app has been down for over a month, we have called and it always tales forever to get an actual person on the phone to help us rest it. Tried to rest it at home on outhe computer and our account is locked. Went in today to get help and there was a super long wait. The gal at the front kiosk said it was and easy fix but we had to wait in line. I seriously hate this bank. I have never had this many issues with any other bank. Super rude, always long waits, and they are never willing to answer a simple question unless you "wait in line".

      After running some errands and getting some gas, I received a notification from my BECU app that some unknown transactions had been preauthorized on my account. After calling customer service to have my card canceled, I went into the branch and within 10 minutes had gotten a replacement card! BECU is a well oiled machine, and this branch was courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable.

      My husband I have been with BECU since he has been with Boeing over 30 years. Last week husband went in and closed out CD with sizeable amount of money in it and put it into another account with now just his name on it. I had to go up and have my name put on it. I have always been on all the accounts. So how did they close out this CD without my signature or ok? I called the 1-800 number this afternoon and talked with Christina. She said no my husband is primary he can do that, I said no I am on accounts as well. how are you not safe guarding me that this doesn't happen? Christina, "well we don't". I asked you mean I can clean out all the accounts then without my husband's signature or knowledge , she replied yes! wow, unreal is all I can say. People Beware this was news to me! I need to search for some place with better safeguards.

      I have been a BECU member for decades. Was very happy to find this branch so close to my new home. Easy access from 176th St E, 24/7 ATM machines indoors, and friendly people working there.
