  As a small business owner, I was thrilled at how easy and efficient the team at Beacon made the process of opening a new account. I had the pleasure of geting to work with Kristin. She was professinal and made it super easy and fast. I also worked closely with Jason on a commercial loan and hands down, he and his team are the best!! I highly recommend Beacon! I did not understand what it meant to utilize a "Community" bank and the difference in the level of service and customer care is evident immediately. I have had pleasant experiences with friendly tellers but Beacon takes professionalism, concern and commitment to their clients to a whole new level!! I am moving all my accounts to Beacon!!

Here's a solution if you're in the Charleston SC area and want an unparalleled personal banking relationship, where your Bank representative is focused first and foremost on the services his Bank can offer you. Beacon Community Bank has really impressed me with their attention to detail, lightning-quick responses to requests, and spending the time to learn what they needed to know so they could best assist us. Jonathan Peavey met with us at the Digital Ignite offices, heard what we wanted from a bank, and quickly laid out several solutions for us. After a few months of banking with Beacon Community Bank, I can honestly rate their service as A+. My relationship with this bank also grew into their providing financing for my family as well. They are funding the purchase of a new home that we are closing on this week. Again, Beacon Bank's attentive service and attention to detail were exactly what I wanted.   Beacon Community Bank on Houston Northcutt Boulevard in Mount Pleasant is a great community based bank that offers excellent customer service. The staff here is very knowledgeable and accommodating and makes sure that everything is taken care of. I have had a good experience every time I have been here.

  Beacon is all that is good and right about a community bank. They get to know you. The service is impeccable. The rates are competitive. Underwriting processes are fair and not overly beaurocratic. Our banker, Jonathan Peavey, is as good as they get. Check them out!

  In 40 years of community banking in Charleston, opening a new account here was as pleasant, efficient, easy, hassle free, professional and skillful as I’ve ever seen. Being self employed, a bank driven my strong relationships with their customer is crucial to survival. The branch managers office being literally at the front door is a strong symbol to this commitment to the core value of customer relationships. Ample parking, the branch is nicely decorated. If you want a bank who’ll remember your name and get to know you, go see Kristen Hopson, currently titled my “favorite banker.”

  I was fortunate enough to find out about Beacon Community Bank, and in particular Jonathan Peavey, right as the Virus pandemic shut the economy and crippled small businesses. I never would have gotten the attention to detail and follow through with my existing "National" banking relationship. Thank you Jon!
