  I can't say enough about Jamar Bates and his team. Talking about professional, meeting you where you are-with a busy schedule and getting the job done. A former military man and we're Retired military he understood our family's unique needs. He made the transition to Texas a good one although I was kicking and screaming, my family chose the retirement location, lol :). God Bless you and Thank you.

  Bates Mortgage’s closing time was a key differentiator in our offer which allowed us to win over several other offers for our home. We closed on a jumbo mortgage in 22 days. My realtor said this time frame was the fastest she has ever seen for a jumbo. The approval process was fast and efficient. I highly recommend Bates Mortgage. BGreer

  Excellent customer service and professionalism!!! Jamar Bates was recommended to me after my loan officer at another financial institution quit three weeks before my closing date. Had I not called the company I would never have known. I had been working with them for six months. Bates Mortgage Group, LLC worked tirelessly to ensure that I was able to close two weeks after the initial date. Everything was seamless from beginning to end. I have recommended them to others and if I bought another home, they would get my business.

  Bates Mortgage provided the competitive interest rates for my mortgage. The loan officer, processor and everyone along the journey were very professional and supportive through the process. After running into timing issues with "Big Banks" not able to close a loan in less than 30-45 days. Bates Mortgage was able to do it in 10 days with a better rate. I highly recommend them and the support staff.

  This is our Story, Congratulations to the Jennings on the purchase of their new build mansion in Texas. Navy Federal had their loan for 2 months and unable to close the loan. They called Bates Mortgage, we threw on our cape, swooped in, took the application, transferred the appraisal and docs and closed the loan in 8 days flat and saved the day. We beat them on price, rate, service and speed. Jamar Bates did a wonderful job.The company Bates Mortgage was very professional, fast and amazing at helping my family with a quick process in closing on our home. I AM VERY GRATEFUL AND TRULY BLESSED. Jamar really did come and say the day, because without him we would not be in this beautiful home we will forever be grateful!!!! Thanks again, Mr. Bates

  Great service Great Communication they Get the Job Done. If you have a Lender that can’t get it done. Bates Mortgage Group can. Bates Mortgage Group is responsible for my Initial Purchase Loan in 2020 and My Refi a Year Later. Which I closed on March 26, 2021 . I will also be using them to Finance my 2 Townhouse Investment properties in the next 6 - 8 Months. Thank you so Much to the Staff and Mr. Jamar Bates for taken Good Care of me...   I had a GREAT experience with Bates Mortgage. I refinanced my house a few months ago, and Jamar and his team made the process very easy and smooth. They got my loan closed quickly in the middle of the pandemic and were quick to answer all of my questions. Highly recommend!

  Jamar and Bates Mortgage, LLC came highly recommended after 2 attempts at securing a loan for a specified amount. I was impressed with his confidence that he could help me get the loan amount I needed. I am typing this review while sitting at the desk in the kitchen of my dream home so he was absolutely right! The ride wasn’t completely smooth and the communication wasn’t always perfect , but I’m very thankful for the recommendation because had it not been for him and his team, someone else would be in my dream home...!   Jamar and his team at Bates Mortgage group were awesome to work with. The customer service was excellent, all my questions were answered in a timely manner and most importantly, Bates Mortgage Group lowered my interest rate. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Bates Mortgage Group.

  As primarily a listing agent I work with many individuals and companies on the financing side of things. Less than 1-star is how I would rate my experience with Bates Mortgage. I could get into the nitty gritty of the many the times the truth was hidden/half told, but at the end of the day what made this experience so horrific was the total lack of communication. Do yourself a favor and find someone who will treat you and your clients like more than just another file.
