  I bank here. I'm very frustrated with this bank because their ATM, wait, I mean their ONLY ATM in Bakersfield doesn't work properly, the enter button on screen doesn't work most of the time, and I'm sure they know about it, but it doesn't get fixed. That means I have to use a different bank ATM and I get charged $3.50 on both ends so 7 bucks every time I use an ATM to withdraw money, and Because I get paid daily and withdraw that pay usually daily I'm getting charged $7 every day to get my money out of the ATM, all because they won't fix their ATM at the branch. I would go inside the bank except that I work graveyards and don't get time to go inside the bank because they're closed when I get there. Hopefully bank of the West management will see this and deal with that ridiculous machine that will not accept the enter button on screen or the manual enter button either.

  Their service hours have always been more limited than expected from a bank No service at night. Long long long hold time! My branch had no drive up, but they were helpful...and now today and without warning bank > is closed. Not end of day closed

  Not only did I wait another 45minutes in que I was greeted by someone who did not care to do their job. Basically told me, sorry can't help you! When I asked for a supervisor I was placed back in que AGAIN, instead of being handed off to a supervisor. I just want my issue fixed and this Bank is literally avoiding it at all cost!!! Completely unacceptable. Worst Customer Service i have ever experienced!!!! Do not bank here for they will only create frustration and in the long run keep your money.

  Went to cash some bank of the west check from a client and apparently they charge $10 per check to cash their own check. Just dumb.

  The worst customer service of any bank. I have been a loyal customer for many years and NEVER have i ever waited in a call que for TWO HOURS just to be transferred and placed on hold again. This is ridiculous and I will be closing my account, if you will even allow me to do that.

  I went to withdraw from my account and it took for this young guy typing like a story telling on the keyboard then staring hard on the screen and never told me anything so I asked what’s the problem until then he told me that before I can withdraw my money, I need to speak to the manager and I ask what’s seemed to be the problem? He said, my manager will explain to you but his manager went on a break and after 30 mins. I have to leave because of work schedule. Terrible banking in here.

  Closed a loan deal on a RV with this place only to have them come back and try to get a higher INTEREST RATE or they won't honor the loan after I already wrote a check for the deposit that they asked for $16.000 dwn pymnt/ I did it and I signed the contract with the dealer - drove it away and 6 DAYS LATER THEY TRY TO PULL SH...! LIKE THAT......WOW NO WONDER WHY CALIFORNIA GETS THE SH...! NAME HERE-- THEY DESERVE IT

  I wish someone would educate some of the bankers today. Opening an account for an industrial Hemp C. Corporation requires a criminal background check? Industrial Hemp is an agriculture product no different than a tomato or a head of lettuce and they don't do criminal background checks on that segment of the industry. I have no criminal history and do not appreciate your institution treating me like a criminal. Hemp and recreational or medical marijuana are NOT the same. I think the Federal Reserve needs to step in. I know this is hindering my ability to conduct commerce. If there's an attorney that thinks my rights have been violated, please contact me.

  Can I give a half a star or a no star this is the worst bank ever customer service sucks the lie and treat you like you are below them the Bakersfield ca branch have no customer service at all
