  First home buyer here! I regret to say, this local fabulous team at Mortgage Connection was NOT our first choice in lenders as it should have been. Initially, I first went with one of those fancy high rated online lenders (Amerisave). Horrible experience, took a week just to get denied, then went to my current financial institution (Chase), denied again. We had less than two months left until our lease is up on our apartment and we needed to move asap to find a place to live.I was referred by the Magee Family in Taft to speak to Arturo with Mortgage Connection. Wow! What an experience of service that was a breathe of fresh air. He communicated nights and weekends, got our pre-approval within two days so we can put offers down. Our first offer started on Christmas Eve, with the 45 day closing Escrow (our choice) to move in by Valentine's Day. His team moved thoroughly, effective and pull through.
