  Was buying our first home through fha. Worked with Mike Painovich. An absolute nightmare. Didn't even close on the home. Had to walk away. Would definitely not recommend this bank!

  Worst customer service possible. It's no wonder they are a 3 star rated. Don't go here unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen.

  I wish there were a way to target Bank of the West customer service specifically, but there isn't. Long story short, I've been a loyal BOTW customer for SEVEN years. For the past 3-4 months, I have been finding weird service charges and each time i call to ask about them, I get the same response "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately there's nothing we can do" I'm sorry, but kindly shut up. Yes, you can do something! How about NOT charging your customers for having 1 auto payment coming out of their savings acct?? Ridiculous. Needless to say, after 7 years, we are switching banks. It sucks when you have to switch all your automatic payments to a different account, but it's worth it if you aren't charged unknown fees (might I add, I specifically told the rep I was never told I would be charged for making 1 auto payment from my savings acct, and his response was they dont have time to tell us all the rules and regulations of our accounts. He was a rude little snot!) Good riddance!

  closed at random times/dates.... second location to be unreliable within five miles of each other....terrible customer service

  Quick service when I need it - drive through is fast!
