  Went in for a wire transfer right at noon. Filled out the form and was told by a senior service person that I needed to start the wire now because she was going on lunch at 1230. I told her it would be about a minute for me to contact my loan officer to confirm the loan information and make sure I wasn't get scammed. Was told that wasn't acceptable, that wires take at least 20 minutes, and I needed to leave because the branch was closed for lunch. Was offered to return at 130pm to complete the wire. Getting everything right on a refi can be difficult with all the moving parts involved and that is compounded by someone who preemptively shuts down a bank branch almost a half hour before they said their lunch starts. Been a bank of the west customer for well over a decade. The lack of branches in San Diego was difficult to deal with but it has always been my bank so I stuck in there but it's time to move on.

  The automated sign out front displays the temperature about 5 degrees warmer than it is, and the time is shown 1 hour and 10 minutes ahead of the actual time. If they can't do this right, how reliable are there other services?
