  I recently bought a home in June 2017, and was recommended by our agent to talk to National Bank because they were so easy to work with and had a fast turnaround. My experience was top notch. They were very helpful, very responsive, and very knowledgeable. Tricia was excellent to work with, and always made herself available. I would highly recommend this bank. They don't treat you like an account number, they treat you like a real person.

  I’ve encouraged several friends and family, impacted by the over of The Bank of Edwardsville by Busey Bank, to switch to this bank. Being able to walk-in and be greeted by name from the friendly staff is something that’s unheard of at the other banks. Lisa, the manager, truly cares about the customer’s experience and has been a pleasure to work with. Bank of Hillsboro has a hometown, local feel in which you’re treated as a customer and not a number - not to mention their rates are much better than other banks - including the infamous Busey Bank.

  I've held my mortgage with Bank of Hillsboro for 10+ years. The customer service and proactive communication is more than I've ever received from any other bank. Highly recommend you check them out in Edwardsville.

  ATM in Edwardsville in front of Home Depot cheated me out of $15. Received cash in 20s and when I counted the money one of the 20s was a 5. I’m giving them a 1 star, because they blew me by saying there was nothing they could do and I would need to contact my bank to file a dispute with their bank. So bottom line they have a thief working there and don’t care.

  The Worst Bank In Town‎‎ Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 By rance - Apr 2, 2010 this has got to be one of the worst banks in edwardsville,il they can care less about a customer and are very rude . I recently use one of thier atm at thier bank in Edwardsville Il and helping my son get his Business going has been getting the best of me Anyways I stop in to get some cash from national got the money was charged2.50 pluse and drove off will as soon as we did I toll my son I forgot my card . So I waited tell they open up went in toll them what had happend toll them my name and all they did was tell me we aren't giving it back we have to cut it that is just wrong cause now I can't even pay bills can't feed my family can't get to the hospital all because they don't no what the code is that thier ATM gives means so insted of try to fine out they just would reather cut up card and AND JUST LOOK at you The feeling I got form them was like they don't care hell they would be the type that would let you die instead of calling for help . NOW I KNOW WHY THAT BANKS PARKING LOT IS ALWAYS EMPTY AND I NEVER SEE ANYONE COMING OR GOING MAY BE IF THEY TREATED PEOPLE LIKE PEOPLE AND CARED ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMER THEY WOULD HAVE CUSTOMERS THE WORST BANK YES IT IS « Hide
