  I cannot recommend Bank of England enough. They made buying our first home the easiest process. Liz was absolutely incredible - she is compassionate, kind and so knowledgeable. Liz made sure we were supported and understood where we were in the process. Bank of England made sure we got the best rates and saved us so much money.

  We are not sure how we got so lucky, but when we started looking into moving to Chattanooga we found an awesome Realtor in Sean Moran at The Grace Frank Group, and he introduced us to a fantastic Mortgage Loan Advisor, Elizabeth (Liz The Lender) Casteel at Bank of England Mortgage. Liz was wonderful to work with from Day 1. She was always so upbeat and friendly, very knowledgeable, helped us through very step in the process, kept us updated on everything, and she made sure everyone involved in the process knew when we entered the next phase in the process. Liz made sure everything stayed on track and on time. There was never any doubt about where things stood at any stage. It went so smoothly and was so easy for us that it was hard to believe we were actually “working” on getting a loan. We were very happy to have found Liz The Lender to help us through this process and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Mortgage Loan Advisor.   Absolutely the BEST mortgage lender in the area award goes to Sarah Hilmes! Hands down went above and beyond my expectations. As my first house purchase, everyone was telling me to be weary of what my mortgage lender was asking for me to do and be careful of what I give up. This was ABSOLUTELY NOT the case, Sarah asked me what I was comfortable with, what terms I was looking to achieve and made it happen! Prior to sitting down and settling with Sarah I was speaking with other mortgage lenders. There wasn’t one who made me feel as comfortable in the process or responded as promptly as Sarah did. If you’re even considering refinancing or purchasing a home, do NOT pass up a call to Sarah.

  I am not a new home owner, in fact I have financed over 10 homes in the last 30 years. I have used Credit Unions, Mortgage Companies, Big Banks, Little Banks, and unfortunately the worst, "Blank" of America. No one comes close to the efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care that Bank of England and especially Sarah Hilmes gave my wife and I. From the initial inquiry to the closing, Sarah and her team made it very simple and quick not to mention a great rate and more inexpensive closing than the other companies I considered. Thanks Sarah and we will use you again as well as recommend you to others.

  My husband and I were referred to Sarah Hilmes by our realtor and she was absolutely amazing . She was always available to answer our questions essentially holding our hands throughout the entire process of purchasing our first home. I would highly recommend Sarah and her team if you are in the market for a mortgage lender.

  I worked with Sarah Hilmes, who is absolutely amazing. She walked us through each step of both our original mortgage when we purchased our first house as well as our refinance. She is so easy to talk to and took the time to assuage my concerns and answer every question that we had every step of the way. Highly recommend!

  I reached out to Sarah Hilmes in June of 2018. She was recommended from my parent’s realtor, who became my realtor shortly after speaking with Sarah.. I honestly was just inquiring about what I needed to do to get myself in a good position to purchase my first home. To my surprise Sarah let me know I was approved, and if I wanted to, we could start looking at houses. Sarah went above and beyond for me, as I’m sure she does for others. I knew exactly what I wanted and Sarah looked at every possible loan option she had to best fit my needs. She definitely was very involved and I never felt like I was left in the dark, I mean this was my first home I had no idea what I was doing! Sarah spent close to 8 months with me running numbers, checking houses, and answering every question I had no matter what time of day or night it was. I finally found my home in January of 2019. Sarah made the closing process so easy! We closed on my home shortly after on Valentine’s Day. I have recommended Sarah to friends who also just adore her and what she does for them. You can just really tell Sarah really cares. If I had to do it all over again Sarah with Bank of England would still be my first choice!

  Sarah and the team at Bank of England were awesome!! They took their time and made sure to get the lowest interest rate they could for me. I never had to worry about what step was next, because every time I needed to sign something they would let me know. They were always able to answer any questions I had, and they took care of all the VA paperwork. Being able to sign documents online made everything really convenient. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a mortgage company. Especially if you’re doing a VA loan.

  Sarah Hilmes deserves all the greatest things in life! I was a first time home buyer last March and she gave me absolute peace of mind and answered ALL my questions at ALL times of the day, even if they weren’t her questions to answer :) If the time ever comes for me to buy another home I would only use Sarah. I also referred my brother and his wife to her and they loved her!! She is the absolute best!!!

  We used Bank of England a couple months ago. We would highly recommend using Sarah Hilmes to walk you through your home buying process. She is very professional, knowledgeable and makes herself available for questions at any time! When it comes time to buy our next house, she is the only one we will even consider using!
