Nikki Monroe1The staff is nice but the wait time is horrendous! I come every week to deposit checks and each time I wait in line between 30 minutes to 1 hour; not to see a personal banker, but in the actual teller line. There is only 1-2 tellers and the time for each transaction is ridiculous. They have the branch manager walk around sometimes to ask the customer what transaction they are doing to try and alleviate the wait but that is not often. I can’t use the atm as I need to deposit by teller. Why not hire an additional teller? Customers come during lunch or want to stop in quickly to do transactions. Why does this need to take an hour to cash a check, deposit cash, etc?

Jillian Vance5To make an already ridiculously long story short, we had filed an insurance claim with our car, and had to get a cashiers check for the shop who was fixing our car. A couple of weeks later, the owner of the shop arrived at my house unannounced, telling me he lost the cashiers check asking for more money. As he was clearly scamming us, and never answered our calls again, we called Bank of America to see if they could handle this issue. After explaining we had to wait 90 days to make sure the check was not cashed, a very helpful and patient staff member, The T Le, took on our case and she did everything in her power to make this process easy for us. As anyone reading this can understand, this could be an extremely frustrating and difficult situation to go through, and she made sure that we did not take on any stress and handled it so perfectly. In a world that is understaffed, and overworked, she really stood out by trying to truly help her customer. We were on the fence about leaving BOA for business and for personal use, and she changed our minds! Thank you again The T Le

Ryan Young1I don't know if there are any good branches but this definitely isn't one of them. I went in early to set up a new account for our newborn. Manager said my wife had to be present to be on the account even though we have a joint account and advised that she could just do it online via her profile. I get home and she tries to do it online and is told by customer service she has to do it in person. We then go back to the branch with the baby, and she has to wait 20 minutes just to be told she has to make an appointment for a week later. There's a new Chase down the street, we'll be opening the account there instead.
Response from the ownerHi Ryan. I'm sorry your experience with our financial center team wasn't what you expected. M M1I came in at 3:58 the lobby closes at 4pm to have a one page document notarized, I thought the bank closes at 5pm a representative named Tuy blatantly lied to me that Bank of America systems are down, now granted there are 6 people in the lobby making transactions with the teller behind glass. She tells me the system that does the notary is down so I question her theory that a notary is not a system but a stamp and signature, and she blatantly lies again and plays coy and states that the internet is down on her side of the building but not on the teller side when I look over at the tellers station. I tell her I understand you close at 4pm but don’t lie and say the internet is down when I see someone is on a computer in one of offices behind you and the tellers are processing transactions. If you don’t want to notarize the document because it two minutes to closing then by all means say that and ask that I come back tomorrow not around closing time, but to blatantly lie in a customer’s face that can be challenged really shows she doesn’t care about the customer not to mention the banking industry is ultra competitive there’s a bank on every corner. I’m so fed up with Bank of America fee layden service and lack of customer care, I’m seriously going to transfer the bulk of my funds back to my small credit union that understand my money is important to them as well as myself.

Veronica Sykes1I had a noon appointment for a notary. I was told I had to wait, which is fine. However- come to find out that The, the notary who my appointment was under, her notary expired today. I had to wait for the only other notary who was busy with a client. This is unacceptable. From the look of the previous reviews, this is how this branch works.

Kristin Cabrera1My mother passed away and I am the beneficiary on the accounts. The money is legally mine. For months I was given the run around. Every appointment and phone call I was told there was an error and they "fixed it" over and over again. Finally when I threatened legal they magically were able to write me a check at a branch that day.
Response from the ownerHi, Kristin. It's disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't at the level you expected, and we’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. Lauren Cole1The only reason why I’m giving it a star is because of the polite and cheerful staff. It’s a constant 30 minute wait (minimum) Morning, afternoon....It just does NOT matter what time of day. They always have a full staff but only one person behind the counter. It baffles me to see employees standing around while there’s a line almost to the door. Closing my account very soon.
