Lakisha Hughes Rolfe1I would rate less than 1 star if I could. My husband and I went into this branch on 12/23/21. He had drawn money out of his 401K and we wanted to deposit it into our checking account and see if we could possibly use some of it due to the fact that we were traveling for the holidays and it never hurts to have a little extra just incase something comes up (we live in a small town no BOA we either deposit over the mobile banking app or drive to a BOA). We knew that there was going to be a hold time placed on the funds due to the amount (no problem we had done this before a few years back so we expected it). We were told by the clerk inside the bank that $200.00 would be available to us the next day (Christmas eve🤨🤔...ok). He then he gives us a print out of when the remaining funds will be released (We have the print out). I make arrangements to pay so bills based on what we were to and the print our that I was given. We spent some extra money over the holiday with the family (BECAUSE WE THOUGHT WE COULD!!!). Needless to say there's not a penny of that $7,000.00 released anywhere in our account and today is 12/30/21. Our cell phones are off and there are other items being declined for insufficient funds. I'm going to see if I get any results today. I'm the type of person who will give anyone a chance to fix a problem, but if I feel like you just flat out don't care or aren't willing to take responsibility for your part in a situation. I'll do everything in my power to get justice, and I don't care how long it takes.
Response from the ownerHi, Lakisha. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations & we appreciate you taking the time to send your feedback as we’re always working to improve. We strive to provide next business day availability for check deposits. However, when the decision to place a hold is determined at a later time, a Notice of Hold is mailed no later than the close of the business day following the business day on which the hold was placed. The notice lists the reason for the hold, the amount that’s being held, and when the funds will be available. The notice can also be viewed online under the Statements & Documents tab in "Notifications and Letters". William Sells1I am in awe of this banks level of incompetence. I went in to do foreign currency exchange and was blown away. They were completely clueless about the currency. They didn't know the denomination, exchange rate, or even what country the currency belonged to. All of this information being readily available with a quick Google search. After about an hour of stunningly lackluster results they offered me about 40 percent of what it was valued at. Needless to say, I walked out blinded by the what has to be the most mind numbing experience at a bank ever.

64wbryantex1No one answers the phone! I know I called 10 times and no one bothered to pick up. Call it a little excessive I know but darn it I was determined to talk to someone yet fail. No wonder all the Bank of America's typically have 2 start ratings.

Loupdog1Every time in the past 3 months I have been here the bank not even the drive thru open until 10 where every other bank opens drive thru at 7, they have 1 lane open in the drive thru and a line around the building. I sit for an hour or more just so I can deposit my rent with 3 kids in the back seat antsy and screaming and then even a deposit takes them 10 minutes to process it seems like.

bionicle gamecube4I can say I been banking with them for years and never had a problem. Recently I opened a new acc and lady who helped my husband and I was very helpful and professional. The best of all it’s was in our own language. Love the fact that they have bilingual staff! 👍🏽👍🏽

John Martinez1OMG!!!! I frequent this branch of Bank of America on Valley Mills Dr. in Waco TX to make loan payments. It always takes FOREVER!!! They never have enough personnel to service your needs quickly. I do see lots of bank employees in the building, but they don't appear to be in any hurry to help you. Mr. Bank Manager when you see lots of customers in your drive through and a line of 8 to 10 inside your building, common sense would suggest perhaps putting another teller or two behind the counter to speed up the process temporarily.........DUH!!!!

Richard Leonberger1Terrible Customer Service and Convenience. I pulled into the drive through on Valley Mills dr. in Waco, TX. at 3:56pm. There were two cars ahead of me. By the time I got to the window, it was admittedly about 4:04pm. The window shade was hurriedly pulled down as the car ahead of me left. The teller told me that the drive through closed at 4:00pm as she continued to service the customers on two other lanes, but refused to take my payment on an account. What bank closes the drive through at 4:00pm. Well, it turns out that Bank of America is the only bank in Waco that does so. All of the rest of the banks in town close their drive through at 5:30pm or most until 6:00pm. Shame on you Bank of America. We certainly would not want you to service your drive through customer who only wants to give you their hard earned money, any later than 4:00pm. Your tellers are more concerned with clocking out than spending any extra time on "Customer Service". I find that this type of "Customer Service Attitude/Culture" usually starts from the Top and then Down. Perhaps management should take a long look at "Itself" in the mirror and entertain a little reflection.

Tammy Rodgers2I asked my mother to deposit $20 for me. She had my account number. They asked her if it was an emergency which is none of their business. They went ahead and did the deposit but told her never again. Apparently you cant have cash deposited in your account. So stupid.

Phillip Foster5I had Aaron Ferrer help me out today with getting a direct deposit form filled out to give to my employer. I originally needed a counter check that I could void and give to my new employer, but I was told they don't do counter checks so what I got was a direct deposit form with a picture of what my check would look like along with all my banking information on it. Didn't wait long and had a great and helpful experience.

Derek Bonner1Have held my check and left me with nothing for over 4 days 1 of which was a holiday, which is fair. Bit ive banked with this company for 7 years and everytime i deposit checks it goes smoothly but any hitch happens in there system they do not help customers. Its nothing but im sorry i cant help you everytime. As of today im canceling my account, my money is my money i earn it not you. I have bills late because of this good riddance to a worthless banking organization.
