      hopefully they change that closing time to 5pm during weekdays is frustrating trying to make it before 4pm when everyone also or most other banks are open till 5pm so disappointed you may want to consider a different bank

      What sense does it make for you not to have the drive thru open during pandemic??? It took over 30 minutes for me to cash my check with others standing inside the building. Drive thru was closed. So much for public safety!

      I went to this bank twice today for no help basically as a former employee and a decent human who has been impacted by covid I felt like a second class citizen and discriminated against due to what my banking needs were since yesterday. Everyone knows that millions of folks are getting larger than norm payments from unemployment unfortunately the state I reside in issues checks which are drawn off of Bofa. Yesterday I was told I couldn’t cash due to being a non Bofa account holder by the teller, the branch manger at another location was willing to cash but didn’t have enough cash to dispense and told me to come back. Today I visited this branch because it’s larger only to get almost thru the process to be told it can’t be cashed because the last name differs on the check vs the my Id, however it’s the same as my ssn/card. So I went out of my to find a check cashing place who was willing to cash for a large fee, but they weren’t able to because Bofa stamped my check. I went back to Bofa this time showing more than enough identification to be told my check is now useless or go to the other location who was willing to. Why isn’t Bofa inconsistent with their policy and why is the branch manager refusing to provide me with that requested someone above her as if I can’t get it. This is ridiculous people have already been impacted by having to wait for this money and I’ve never been told I can’t cash a check that is drawn off their own bank. My id’s have been the same for 20 years and I’ve never been told I can’t because of. Further more the security guard was trying to do more than the bank to help me. I’m sorry having the state reissue this check or getting a new id from my state isn’t feesible when I have a marriage license. This is Most difficult And inconsistent. I also was asked why my claim took so long as if it’s a problem what I’m entitled to. I don’t care how long it took the fact is this is drawn of their institution I’m going as high as I can go with this complaint. I will not change my last name because my uncle is Oscar P Austin! I will not be treated less than especially when I’m in Bofa system as former employee with both names.The final straw the manger wouldn’t even tell me directly. You always tell someone what you can do for them not a no even if it’s only a follow up.

      DO NOT bank at this location. Terrible customer service and extremely slow. Only two tellers available each time I have gone here and they are always rude and condescending if you are not a Bank of America customer at this branch. If you have to visit a Bank of America lobby location it's worth it to drive a few more miles and visit the BOA on Devine Street in 5 points-they are super nice.
