THE WORST BANK and WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever seen. Run and never bank here!!!! 1: Only two people at the counter while others hanging around, never ever solve your business account problem 2: Only exchange 40 $ of quarter while it should be 60$ for me after a long long waiting ( at least 30 mins) . She did 60$ for the people in front of me! 3. Rush to close since she wants to go home after 4 without qualifying service 4:You never know when the door will open. 5: You can only see their smile when you try to open a credit card account with them.

Came at 2:00 to the college park location and they said the only cashier that they have is at lunch and I have to wait for 30 minutes. It's been an hour and no help yet. Unbelievable. A bank without a cashier for an hour. No words. Never again.

      Response from the owner

I'm so confused by the negative reviews. Each time I have visited this branch the tellers were all awesome to me. A perfect balance if professional and personable.

      Response from the owner

Hi Belinda. Thanks for the review! We’re glad to hear about your great experience and hope you’ll consider Bank of America for your future banking needs. Have a nice and safe day. ^susan

The teller is ALWAYS on break. Hire more bank tellers to service customers. Myself and another customer stood in line and two workers looked at me and didn’t say anything about a the teller being on break until I asked for help. No signage or nothing.

      Response from the owner

Hello Rocheta. It's disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't at the level you expected, and we’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. Sheena was so courteous! She was so nice on the phone and in person. Honestly, this is the fastest service I've ever received at any bank. I was in and out in 10minutes:)

      Response from the owner

Hello. Thanks for sharing your positive experience with Sheena. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know. ^nicole

Came to this College Park location to add my wife to my accounts signed all the documents and was giving a print out copy. That was 6 months ago,now that we need to show another banker that she has these cash assets, just to find out College Park BOA never added her to my accounts. This has to be illegal on some many levels. I wonder what would happen if I passed away and she was left without access to my accounts. Not to mention it has stalled our process with the bankers. We did go to the Silver Spring location and they added her to the account and help us file a complaint. The SS location was very professional a little bit of wait but still very helpful.

WORST BANK OF AMERICA BRANCH EVER. DO NOT COME HERE LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT BRANCH. They have the rudest person in the front which to me is beyond me because they are the face of the company when they are working. I never get anything solved here. They could never do anything for me. Because I have to make an appointment. I make an appointment and I still have to wait an hour. Which I do not understand because the bank is EMPTY!!!!!! I’m going to Wells Fargo thanks!

My son is a grad student at the University of Maryland. He stood in line to wait for assistance. When he got to the counter, he told the teller that he just needed to exchange two $20 bills for quarters (to do laundry). She asked if he had an account with them and he said no. She refused to help him. So Bank of America only helps people who have accounts at their bank? Cash is cash. He wasn't trying to cash a check. He just needed to exchange bills for coins. This is why people back home complain about this bank and apparently it's not just a local thing. It's company wide.

Worst bank branch I have ever been to. They never end the matter in a clear manner which makes you go there more than twice at least. Every time I go there to resolve a problem, it never gets resolved at once, have to stay at least an hour (including wait time), and deal with unfriendliness. Strongly considering to change the bank after dealing with people in this branch. Would not have gone here only if there were other branches around umd.

I went there the other day, not organized at all. I had to wonder around where I should go, also, lady who “greeted” was helping two ladies getting a new card and the way she talked to them was rude. I asked her some questions and she seemed irritated by it and asked rudely. If it wasn't so close to UMD, I wouldn't go there
