Not sure what everyone is complaining out. My partner and I went in to open an account a while ago (he’s a non-citizen so it can be difficult). After getting turned down at other banks because “it’s not possible for a non-citizen/resident to open an account,” we decided to head to BOA on Grand River. Went in, waited a few minutes, then were told that, YES, we can in fact open an account together! It was Jonathon Kugler who helped us and despite it being his first time creating an account with a non-resident/citizen, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. When all was said and done, his manager stopped by and made sure everything checked out. We’ve been banking with them for over a year and have had 0 problems. Recommend them to people whose spouses are non-citizens or residents who have been turned away by other institutions.

Do not waste your time here. I had a quick question I just needed verified on my account and the one banker on duty refused to look at it. claimed that she had an appointment in 10 minutes so she could not help until then. nobody was there and I simply needed to verify a charge-literally would ha e taken 1 or 2 minutes-like I said, don't waste your time, just drive 10 minutes and go to Brighton

Went to this branch order pesos. I called before I went to make sure we could do the exchange bc we only have an investment acct. with them through Merrill Lynch. The manager had to check and said they could do. I went to the branch to order the money and they said "because it had my husbands name on the acct., not mine, they couldnt do the transaction"! I said I could give them my husbands ss# since he was the one to talk to the manager and they said sorry but he has to come in?!!! People really have to understand what customer service is... such a waste of time.

LINES ALWAYS TOO LONG. They need to hire more tellers. Usually only one (Yee, who is a delight) Always greeted by the manager but he can't/wont make your deposits. Still have to wait, wait wait.

I've never had anything but a good experience here. The manager greets me by name everytime. The tellers are friendly and always assist me with whatever I need. Don't listen to these Karen's that have nothing better to do then write bad reviews.

DO NOT BANK HERE!!! I pay $12 a month and Howell branch decided to take friday July 14 off early, closed at 5:00.need to find another bank that is open when they say. Manager is Nasty, she is always right and customer is wrong. She won't shut up to show proof of your complaint.

I have never seen entitlement, laziness and poor customer service like there is at this branch. Its sad. It was the same manager mentioned below. You can tell she is a little too comfortable there.

Worst bank I have ever been to. Have to come here for work and there’s always only one or two tellers takes 20 minutes just for me to make a deposit when at lake trust they can get it done in 5 with 4 tellers working. Wouldn’t recommend.

The manager is very rude to the customers and to her staff. I'm closing my account of 7 years and going somewhere else. I only hope that the people above her take notice of the complaints from the customers.
