Sorry, but I cannot give a good review for the function of this bank. In opening my account I was told to wait 1 week before writing a check. This i did - plus i gave an extra day. Well, my check bounced & I was put in a bad light with the business I wrote it for. * The bank did fix the problem, but the damage was already done.* Recently, I've tried to walk in & do business & they're closed. As I understand it from others they have also closed the branch & notified noone. Also, they have not notified myself & others of fees that have changed. This is a bank I wanted to love & do much business with- unfortunately that 'window' is now closed.

If there was zero stars or even negative stars I would rate this place. They closed down their drive thru rented that portion and the back of the bank to a drug rehab group. There are more greeters than tellers. It isn't uncommon to have five to eight people in line with one teller. With another two to three people greeting you and trying to get you to open an account or start an investment. I had a $400,000 home loan with them but not a checking or savings with them. If I went in to cash a check from a Bank of America Client they wanted to charge me $10 -$15 dollars to cash it because I didn't have a saving or checking. This Bank sucks. Also the only bank that asks for your Drivers License to put any amount over one dollar in someones else's account. I'm so glad I'm rid of them. Oh did I mention this Bank SUCKS

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with any bank! Ever. There is not enough characters for me to explain in detail how prejudice and stereotypical this specific branch was towards me. So as much of a short story I can make this; I was in the area receiving treatment, and I was mailed a check for my short term disability. It was an actual Bank of America check. I went in to cash it, and they said the amount was too much for them to cash for a non client. I did not have time that day to open an account because the bank was getting ready to close in the next 20 min. I came in the following day to open an account, and instead of trying to help me,(with my BOA check!!),The manager immediately started finding reasons not to. Like the effort she put into not helping me with my issue, I would have been an extremely satisfied customer if she gave just a quarter of that energy in vice versa. 1st age tells me I need to have 3 different forms of ID. I retrieved those forms of ID just as she asked me and with the same forms of ID she asked me for specifically. With all the back in forth between that, I spent that day, and the next playing cat and mouse with this lady that did not want to help me from the jump. When she had nothing else to turn me back for, that’s when she took about 20 more mins still trying to find ways not to cash my check or open a new account. She ultimately came up with “My primary ID card has to be local to hobe sound Florida. I got impatient at this point and asked her and the other guy that was not helping me either(Greg), why did you make me run around here and there to get all these forms of ID, when my primary source of ID would not be acceptable.. Neither of them could answer that question. Sad part is, I took my check, went to a Bank of America in Jupiter that was like 10-15 mins away, and they opened me an account with no hassle at all! I gave them the same exact info I gave the manager at the other bank, and they proceeded to help me with open arms.. I will be giving my complaint in full detail to corporate Bank of America as well. I hope no one else has to endure what I had to and feel that feeling of being degraded or stereotyped by people who don’t even know me. I’m an honest working civilian and I was treated like scum that was beneath that particular BOA. I know this is long, but I hope this saves someone else their time and hopefully God willing this will be read by BOA and the situation be thoroughly investigated.

As if I don’t already have enough contempt for banks. You’re a bank, you’re insured by the federal reserve, the American people have bailed you out numerous times, and all you can afford is one teller? Every time I step into a Bank of America, it just so happens that I’m behind one person, and the person dealing with the teller is doing who knows what, apparently withdrawing his life savings because it takes forever and of course, of all the five or six booths, there’s only ONE person working. I went in to exchange some twenties for hundreds, also needed some documents notarized, who knows how long that would take. Waited a good 10 minutes before it seemed hopeless because of course, a brigade of people walked in and complained about the same thing, one teller a whole line of people. Hire more staff, you’re a bank, you literally have all the money in the world, and in case you mess up, don’t worry! The American people will once again, bail you out against our will!

You are greeted the moment you walk in the door! Everyone is so very friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the products and services that are available. I was able to complete what I thought was going to be a long and arduous task in under 5 minutes, including standing in line. I enjoy Bank of America but this branch is wonderful!!
