Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Bree Kliese1This bank is disregarding legal documents and refusing to release money to family. BofA has gone as far as made up rules to hold the money in escrow. Now they refuse to notarize the documents they are demanding, stating we don’t have an account there! What are you saying BOA ? Did you steal our money? We had an account ? But now you say we don’t? What did you do with our money?

Frank Anderson1I was mislead by customer service stating I was able to complete a transaction. Showed up and they said they could not do what was promised to me. Apparently the bank's customer service does not know it's own banking policies.

Tina Lackner1I opened my account at this branch of Bank of America over six years ago. Tuesday, I went in to deposit a check from my IRA account because we made a sudden decision to move and need the extra money in there right away. When I got to the teller, I had her check to see if there would be a hold and for how long because the new landlord would be withdrawing the move-in cost on Friday. She was unable to tell my how long of a hold they would place but was able to tell me that there would be a hold and that it could be up to two weeks. I left to attempt to cash it somewhere else but couldn't because of the amount. I went back into this branch to see if there was anything they could do and I was told by the manager that they were unable to do anything. I called the number on the back of my debit card hoping to find someone that could help. Again, I was told that there is nothing we can do and she assured me that the check would be held for five days. At this point, I am in tears and ready to open an account at another bank, but we are in the middle of a pandemic and from what I was able to find out most banks are not opening accounts at this time. I spent three hours trying to cash this check to get the funds into my account and ended up making arrangements with family to borrow the money. Yesterday, I went into the Lake Grove branch and told them what happened. The teller asked me who told me that there would be a five day hold. He the told me to hang on while he did some things on the computer. A couple minutes later, he told me that he had cashed the check and deposited the cash into my account and it was available immediately. I wish I could rate this branch less than one star. They are the reason that I will be moving my account elsewhere.

GreatJobSpagett1Absolutely awful experience here. Stop begging customers for good reviews(I overheard the floor manager ask for good reviews to both customers before me). I had never used the online photo banking before on a check, but I was assured by someone at this location that online stuff posts pretty quickly, and that they will be able to help me. Well, here I am 3 days later, check still didn’t post all Monday.. and this was a very time sensitive case, as I would be losing my car if I couldn’t get a cashiers check. I had the physical checks with me. I called BOA on the phone and guess what? They could have deposited the checks and written be the cashiers check I needed. When I told her I was going to have no car because I’m on a 2 day rental with the car dealership. she said “I’m very sorry to hear that” with absolutely no empathy in her tone.. for the situation her branch put me in! I did everything I could not to cry. Last time I trust a tellers word at this branch.

Kiani kianiho4I always feel welcomed at this bank.. someone always greets me or talks to me if I have to wait in line for the teller. One of the girls Brandy is super super awesome the last time I went to the bank was maybe four or five months ago until today & she remembered me as soon as she saw my name; asked me how I was and we had a genuine conversation! I really appreciate her friendliness. All the employees I've ever experienced there are awesome and seems to be a great place to work!

Shanesse Williams1Charges me 8 dollars each time I try to cash a check from my insurance company for gas mileage reimbursement... But my insurance company pays the check cashing fee, so this doesn't add up. One of the checks was $6.28. Wish my insurance company would have stuck with their Wells Fargo account, had no issues at all there. This place is ridiculously slow and no one answers the damn phone either. They also keep trying to push me to open an account after I've repeatedly declined. NO THANKS!

Charles Peck1This is a really fantastic bank if you just have to have your life completely ruined. I did everything I was supposed to do to make sure I wasn't getting caught up in a scam, and the bank itself decided to freeze my accounts and not send me any of my money for 3 months! On top of that they told me my direct deposits wouldn't go in since it was frozen. Wrong again!! I went in at least 20 times to get them to fix it, and all they told me was that I had to call corporate. When I lodged a complaint with the better business borough they called me, and told me that I SHOULD HAVE RESOLVED IT WITH THE LOCAL BRANCH!!

Steve MechaMoo2The Good: They're close to home if you live in Wilsonville. The Bad: I went in today for the first time since moving to Wilsonville. First, they were slower than frozen dog farts. They had two people working the counter. One of which was also serving the drive thru. Second, they don't have money orders at this location so got socked $10 each for a couple of money orders. Not the worst bank, but definitely a long way from the best.

Aly G1Never going to this location again. In fact, will be leaving Bank of America entirely. Every single time I pull up to this location, their drive thru is closed which makes it extremely difficult having to wake up my sleeping two toddlers to go inside. Apparently their reasoning was that their short staffed so couldn’t operate the drive thru, but this has been lasting for months.

Zacchaeus and Brannigan Deeds1Kind of weird, went to make a deposit; the teller, she reminded me of a mean science teacher ready to tell me I was wrong. Complete silence, no smiles in the entire branch, plainly uncomfortable.
