Bank of America (Lobby Service Only) Reviews

Terra Nakazawa5Woah! Why are the reviews so low?? I am always so satisfied with the service here. Leticia is amazing and always watching out for my mother and I. By the book.

Lily McKay1Terrible customer service! It was so bad that I was on the verge of closing my accounts - which would have been a pain - but, luckily, the call center customer service was much better. I would NOT recommend going to this branch for anything, though. They're closing down their drive-thru and their staff, including managers, are uninformed, defensive, and insensitive. I spent over an hour there for something that should have taken 10 minutes (which the call center proved), and when I told the manager I had lodged a complaint against her, she literally replied that she would lodge a complaint against me if she could. Bad form, BofA!

masabet hantho1When you call they have no 'hold' option. I need to talk to an agent. I called over 30 times, maybe over 40. Everytime, I was told "everyone is assistanting costumers." Ok, so put me on hold and get to me when someone is free. Why insist on being the only company without a hold option? So the only way to talk to someone is to go there in person. Meeting over the phone should be an option any day they are open, but it should especially be an option during a pandemic. I have been with this branch for over a decade, but I think this is finally the nudge I been needing to join a local credit union and be done with BoA.

William Fanous2Incredibly slow service ans apathetic staff. Very disappointed in all the Bank of America locations in this area.

Dani Way1My experience at this branch was one of the most incompetent banking experiences I have ever had. The staff’s secretive/passive manner of communication was actually insane. I opened an account online with Bank of America in the morning and walked into this location in the afternoon to deposit a $5k Bank of America cashiers check into my new account. I explained this to the teller I was working with. During the transaction the teller seemed to be having difficulties with something on her screen and called over a banking manager to help. They did not communicate to me what the issue was, but whatever it seemed to be, the manager took care of it and they deposited my check into my account. I asked the teller when the funds would be available and she said at midnight—the deposit receipt also relayed the same information. I went to this same location the following day to withdraw cash funds, since my account is new and I don’t have a debit card yet. The new teller had issues withdrawing funds and had to call a banking manager over, and then they asked me to walk to an office in the back corner of the facility. They didn’t explain to me the issue, just told me to go to the office. I sat in that office waiting for someone to come help me, having zero information about what was going on with my account and $5k, for 10 minutes. I was then given some runaround about how my account was closed because I failed to present 2 forms of ID verification, and that my Bank of America cashiers check would be reissued BY MAIL within 10 business days. AND THEN they were asking me to open a new account even though they couldn’t put my deposited funds into that account???? Truly bizarre problem solving techniques within this branch. Poor communication; very little care for customers comfort and success with Bank of America. I dealt with 5 different associates at this branch, and I can truly say they were all terrible. Luckily, the corporate customer service reps & a manager at a different, nearby branch were VERY helpful. Just do yourself a favor and drive the extra 1.5 miles to go to a different branch and hopefully this one gets shut down, because none of these dodos deserve to work at a bank. Holy moly. What a headache.

John Blunt1BA in general and this branch in particular are the absolute worst! Amongst many aggravating defects, you cannot speak to a live person or set up an appointment. The worst!

Jason Brooks1Mismanaged branch. The tellers and bankers are extremely friendly, Leticia has been great over the years that I’ve banked here. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but as a customer I’ve had enough. There’s no drive through anymore, and the line is usually to the door with only one teller , and occasionally two working. Going to this branch is always an hour out of my day

Rosy Spackle1I’ve only been here twice and had the worst customer service of my life. They are rude and super condescending. I had a bank teller named Monica twice and she was not nice at all and was patronizing and not helpful. All I was trying to do was cash a check, that was from Bank of America but I did not have a Bank of America account. This is not abnormal and this is not a new thing but they treated me like I was a criminal and asked why I didn’t just have my grandparents transfer the money online instead of a cashing the check. I said because my grandparents are 85 and They don’t know how to do that. They asked for my ID and spent almost 20 minutes making me wait, watching them whisper about me, then had the manager Jose come over and try and convince me to open an account with them. Obviously I’m not. I’ll go to Chase. Do not go to this branch or any Bank of America.

B. Goldsmith1This might have been the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. The teller and the manager were completely useless and had a terrible attitude. I called a few people in town who have been to this location and said they will never step foot in here again. I couldn’t agree more. Bank of America should be ashamed to have this location open. I could go on forever about how rude the two ladies were but I think you get the point.

Ike2The staff are very professional and hard working here. My compliant is about my fellow clients. They yell at staff over reduced hours due to covid 19. Some refuse to wear masks. They crowd in the bank and dont read safety signs, then wonder why they dont know what is going on most of which are trying to do things you can do with an atm or phone. In short, many BOA menchaca clients are thick. A big reason I'd want to close my account is not due to menchaca staff. They are wonderful. I just dont want to be a part of this clientele.
