Bank of America Financial Center Reviews

Irwin Benson1Branch has been closed for over a year. I cannot get into my safety deposit box. They have a phone number to call to make arrangement for someone to meet you there, but the message says they will call you back, and then they do not call back. Awful. // There was one very good guy working there and of course he left.

Premium Painters1This is clearly one of the worst Bank of America branches is all of Sarasota county. The customer service is non existent. The manager and the staff are extremely incompetent. I have been a B of A customer for over 20 years. I own multiple accounts as . well as a business account that maintains a large average daily balance, yet this branch would not cash a personal check for me because it was deemed too high an amount. They gave a weak explanation for their unwillingness to cash the check, despite the fact that I had just cashed a similar check there 1 week ago with no issues. They would not even cash half the check and deposit the rest. They did not make me feel at all like a long time, loyal Bank of America client. I proceeded to cash the check at another branch with no issues. This branch should be avoided at all costs by anyone who values good treatment and appreciation of your business.

Csilla Gannai5Extremely helpful staff. Customer service has always been excellent. New cards are easy to activate online and at the ATM. The ATM always works with no problems even with foreign credit cards. I have personal and business account and all of them work well. Completely satisfied. I highly recommend this bank.

Kevin Maguire1Worst BOA branch in Fl I must say. Every single suggestion on improving customer experience which has been paired down drastically here has fallen of deaf ears. The floor branch managers love to pass the buck on “not my job” on many issues for years!! Then you close a bank branch when others are open is just a total farce & total disregard & disrespect to the elderly clients in the area who have to travel further or can’t! Wake up!!!

M N1This place has terrible customer service. I go in to get a document notarized and there are 2 customers in the bank but they are too busy even though I offer to wait. I'm given a lecture as though I'm a child on making appointments. I later call to make my appointment and can't get an appointment without my life history which I promise to provide at my appointment which I can't make. They Are slow and unaccomodating in spite of rarely being busy when I stop in to do business. Don't use this branch.I do NOT have this experience at other branches.

Sunday Slide1They keep changing up staff here... it's super upsetting. Now the lines are 3 times longer and it takes 20 min to cash a check. They encourage the "ATM deposits " and or " phone app" but most of the time it's sketchy especially if you don't save your check.... I'm very upset he direction this facility has went in and the lack of compassion and drive to make customer satisfaction a priority from the new branch manager.. she clearly does not care... it sucks too cause this is the only bank I go to because of my lunch hour.. I hope something changes but I doubt it will because Bank of America in general just sucks

Robert Serena1This place is under staffed. I went in to move money from an account that has a hold because of fraudulent charges and they have appointments most of the day. They had no one to do walk ins which is sad and I feel unprofessional. So needless to say I was turned away had to leave because they couldn’t take care of my business matter. They also try another location but same thing with that location!!! Maybe get be time to look into another bank!!!

Jamie Maverick1Long line- one teller. Even a line at the ATMs. B of A must be trying to rid themselves of customers. I've tried several branches and it's the same poor service.

Cheryl Wachinger1Worst customer service ever....dumbest thing was closing the drive thru windows. Went in today and got some cash.....ask the teller for a couple extra bank envelopes and she took money out of the envelope and handed to me and then gave me 2 envelopes....one extra and one that had the money in it..... didn't quite understand that.

Robert Nelson3The whole place does not really care one way or the other if they are your bank but they do have some good financial components offered.
