Bank of America Financial Center Reviews

Jeff Stover5Super modern way to do banking in clean new facility. Very professional associates specialize in business or consumer accounts. Nicholas my banking consultant was amazing as he handled many tasks for me flawlessly and quickly. Also liked the secure after hours card entry door to the ATM machines. Glad Bank Of America is expanding to the greater Cincinnati area.
Response from the ownerHi, Jeff. Thanks for the review! We’re glad to hear about your great experience and hope you’ll consider Bank of America for your future banking needs. ^Joseph

Rishi Dilip1Today I went to the bank to get a receipt for a particular transaction. The gentleman had no clue how to respond to me. I guess he was in rush to go back to his home for the day. He did not say he don't know if he can help me with what I wanted, he just says that's not possibleand leaves with other customer. I called the customer support and the lady was quickly able to help me. I want to write this post just because I want to let the people who are working in the bank know that there is a better way to find solutions which is by figuring out, rather than just abandoning the customer.
Response from the ownerHi, Rishi. I'm sorry your experience with our financial center team wasn't what you expected. Gina Johnson45 stars to associate Casey who helped me close out my account and got me my needed cashiers check for my remaining balance. He was prompt, professional and super helpful. One star deducted only for the rest of the experience. I walked in and while the bank was empty of customers at the time was told that I might need to wait a few minutes, after which the employee looked around and realized the branch was empty and clarified that it might not be too long. Very odd. Then upon asking to close my account I had no less than 4 employees try to convince me not to. I get it, you have a job to do and closing accounts isn't helping Bank of America with their bottom line however my situation was pretty cut and dry. I used to live 10-15 min from a branch and now I am more than 1.5 hours away from a branch. It does not make sense for me to keep a bank account when having a location to visit in person when needed within a convenient distance is important to me. I had to reiterate that multiple times and really wish they would have listened to me instead of their training for one moment. I also felt like the set up for this branch was very strange. Maybe its not set up or intended to be a bank but maybe a loan center? The single teller that I worked with was kept in a cabinet of sorts - they opened these half doors and said someone would be there shortly to help me and the room the teller was in was very small. Strange.

Kimberly Kelly1Made an online appointment to open 2 bank accounts, received a reminder to show up, showed up and bank hours are posted, clearly supposed to be open, lights are out and no one’s home… called and voice mail said they are busy assisting other customers. It’s basically an overpriced building to house tow ATM machines. I understand COVID impacts, but could they have cleared their appointment calendar with people that made the time to go to their location?

Fadi1Worst bank ever . From paying your bill, cashing a check or money transfer. They take forever and really slow. Am closing all my account and never bank with them again. It has nothing to do with the branch, it’s their system that is slow . It takes a week to cash a cashier check. 3 days to post a transaction. The worst bank to do business with

Jason Gates1Came in on my lunch break to cash a check at least 3 people in the branch and was told the teller was out to lunch and it would be 30 before I could even get help. Will never give any business to them again.

Philippe Giabbanelli2Clean and modern facility. I spent an hour there to open a bank account. I brought two pieces of ID and provided the SSN. At the very end, they required showing the physical SSN card, which wasn't indicated when I made the appointment so I didn't carry it on me, and didn't have the time to drive back-and-forth to get it. We couldn't proceed with opening the account, and I felt that I was essentially 'ejected' at that point. Normally, a minimal 'we are sorry' would be in order for wasting an hour of my time. Or you could ask if there is 'anything else we can do for you today'. The end of the discussion was very abrupt and rather unprofessional, making it clear that I wasted 'their' time. If you don't want a potential client to ever come back, that certainly was the way to go.
Response from the ownerGood morning Philippe. It's disappointing to hear that your experience wasn't at the level you expected, and we’ll certainly be sharing your feedback with our leadership team. Coby5Esperanza and Kelsey were two of the most most amazing people to work with. I was informed the bank just opened up but it felt like they had been open for years. I personally feel that this establishment offers a truly professional and remarkable experience. Not only did I leave there happy about the professionalism offered but I also felt like family.

Brandon Parsley1I have never seen a bank that is closed so much and you go in and you can't even make a deposit for 30 minute when there so many standing around and it's a brand new location. What in the holy water is this. Get your managers in line this is uncalled for.

Jon Miller4I wish there were another teller because if you're not the only person there it can take a long time to get assistance but the people who I've dealt with have always been professional and helpful.
